Summary

Addictive, dangerous, your guiltiest pleasure yet: the thrilling climax to the trilogy. The very place where their passionate love affair began, The Manor, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives.

She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse, and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally got beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise which lead Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is. He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy...but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

Includes a bonus scene from Jesse's perspective. Read by Edita Brychta

Perfectly completed

This has been an amazing story and I couldn’t of wished for a better ending! Tying up all the loose ends and giving clarity to who all the characters are and why! Pure perfection!

Exceeded every expectation, and I am looking for another book just like it. In love with Jesse Ward and would love another similar sequel. I have now read these books three times!

A lovely love story if a little long

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this as part of the series of three books. One has to have some patience with the length but I think that the story and characters were well developed.

What other book might you compare This Man Confessed to, and why?

Possibly Sylvia Day's Crossfire series just because of the length and character and story development.

Which character – as performed by Edita Brychta – was your favourite?

Ava was my favourite character as performed by a female voice.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

One can not help but be emotionally affected. A lot of incredulity as events unfold. The slow unveiling of Jessie's past in order to understand why he is how he is just touches on one's annoyance even anger to understanding the circumstances to acceptance of him. It was lovely to see his much softer side towards the end.

Any additional comments?

I think a male voice would have been preferable although the reader did very well with the voice modulation to differentiate the characters.

A brilliant concluding part

If you could sum up This Man Confessed in three words, what would they be?

Heart-stopping, heart-rendering and heart-felt

What was one of the most memorable moments of This Man Confessed?

Too many to say really. Like with the first two you think that at last we know all there is to know about The Lord of the manor - but there is always more being revealed.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The epilogue is incredible

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Lots but especially when the couple thought they had lost the baby and then found out it was twins. And of course the epilogue

Any additional comments?

This isn't a stand alone book- it's a brilliant conclusion to what is one of the best trilogies I have ever come across. Can hardly believe that Jodi Ellen Malpas is a first time author. I liked the narrator as well.

Fantastic Story

Another chapter in Ava and Jesse's story. I just love the characters and how you feel like they're your friends. Always the sign of a great book. Thanks Jodi for writing such good books. Keep up the good work.
