Jaisa’s beauty and ability to please, both of which are to be used at the discretion of the scientific elite who are the one segment of humanity the new gods value, are Jaisa’s only value to the new gods. But her value to humanity may be much greater. Placed into a position of influence, she walks the line between nonconformity and death.

The aliens call themselves gods and inform Earth’s survivors that they are creating a utopia. Jaisa knows that no utopia can be built on billions of human deaths. A little obedience is a small, and temporary, price to stay alive while she figures out how she can make a difference.

The alien "gods" enslaved humanity, but a rebellion is being born. Jaisa longs to join the resistance, yet serves as a concubine to her “husband”, a brilliant but deranged scientist. His latest lab creation is Eo, a woman he designed from a cocktail of genes and memory infusions. Eo’s sole purpose: to hunt down the rebels as the flaming sword of the gods.

Jaisa’s running out of time. Her husband has created a serum that will solve all the aliens’ problems and destroy the rebellion for good...by removing everyone’s memories of the world before. Without recalling the old world or her secret rebellions, Jaisa will no longer be pretending—she’ll become the perfect little doll, and forget what it means to be human at all.
