Epic fantasy writer and New York Times best seller Brandon Sanderson joined us in the Audible Studios to discuss Oathbringer, the third book in his Stormlight Archive, and he revealed his process for getting his books just right. Brandon also spoke about how others can sometimes discover that they're writing in the wrong genre and told us about the books he has unpublished.

Joining us at Audible Studios is scientist and broadcaster Adam Rutherford. Rutherford is the presenter of BBC Radio 4's Inside Science, as well as author of a number of books, including How to Argue with a Racist. Adam Rutherford spoke to us about his latest publication, How to Argue with a Racist, and we discussed the history of genetics, race being a social construct, his thoughts on ancestry testing kits and more.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book and autobiography, A Better Me, is lauded British singer, songwriter and record producer Gary Barlow. Best known as the lead singer of British boy band Take That and head judge of The X Factor UK from 2011-2013, Gary Barlow is one of the UK’s most successful songwriters, with 14 number one singles, 24 top 10 hits and three number one singles as a solo artist. Gary Barlow’s official autobiography, A Better Me, was published in October 2018.

The podcast shares advice from experts on how to find joy in the everyday and unlock inner happiness.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book, Me and the Table, is former professional snooker player and current commentator for the BBC and ITV Stephen Hendry. Best known for dominating snooker in the 1990s. He won the World Championship seven times, became the youngest professional snooker player aged 16 in 1985 and, in 1990, was the youngest-ever world champion at the age of 21. His autobiography, Me and the Table, was published in September 2018.

Bob Roth, meditation teacher and CEO of the David Lynch Foundation, joins us to discuss his latest audiobook, Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation. Bates has authored best-selling books, and now works closely with politicians, schools, police forces and organisations to tackle gender inequality. Bates was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to gender equality in 2015.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his narration of Tony Lee’s audio drama Dodge and Twist is British actor Stephen Mangan. Known for his roles as Guy Secretan in Green Wing, Sean Lincoln in Episodes and Dan Moody in I’m Alan Partridge, Stephen Mangan has had a respected career across both stage and screen. The Tony-nominated actor now plays the part of Charles Dickens in the audio drama Dodge and Twist. In this interview, Stephen Mangan talks to us about what it’s like to voice a Victorian, why he didn’t get to sing in Postman Pat: The Movie and what got him into acting.
