But during two torrid weeks in September 1918, he was the deadliest man on the Western Front. In only 10 missions, he destroyed 14 heavily defended German balloons and four airplanes, a rampage unequalled even by the dreaded von Richtofen, and the second highest American tally of the entire war.

Almost five years ago, America—as everyone knew it—came to an abrupt end in a spectacular coup d'état. It was called the Liberation by those progressives and radicals that screamed for its outcome; the Fall by its victims whose freedoms were trampled. The White House and the Capitol were overrun by anarchists, and the leaders of the once-proud nation were either imprisoned or sent to social quarantine camps. The president was arrested and eventually died in prison, or so everyone was led to believe. America was rebooted in a new progressive/socialist image, Newmerica.

The Second American Civil War Reaches a Boiling Point. In New Hampshire, the struggle for freedom is at a crescendo as the forces of Newmerica seek to wipe out The Defiance resistance in the north once and for all. Their only hope is a daring assault in upstate New York. The fate of New Hampshire teeters in the balance as both forces commit to an epic last stand for freedom.

This anthology of short stories takes the listener to Connecticut, Boston, Guam, Savannah, Houston, San Francisco, Oregon, and overseas. Valiant tank crews, creative techs, brave officers, plucky drone operators, bold medics, cunning pararescue troops, determined ASHUR and Trident pilots, and daring militia units wage war along every coastline in the US.
