Evocative, but frustrating that not more happens

I enjoyed this series, it is well produced, and reminded me of the time I spent visiting Gällivare a few years ago. However, as the crime was never solved, it is a little frustrating that there is no real resolution, and the series perhaps could have been cut down in length a little. But still, a nice listen about a topic I had not heard of before, narrated with a soothing Swedish accent.

Mildly interesting

No real breakthroughs in this investigation, mainly demos of how tight knit northern Sweden was, and the incompetence of the village plods. But it was listenable. One or two usages were strange like referring to the robbery as a coup all the time and the actors pronouncing "navvy" like "navy" all the time.

Coup

The narrator had a lovely voice but why did no one point out that she mispronounces “coup” all the way through. English is not her first language but the production team must have listened to this before signing it off. She uses the word coup about 100 times per episode and by the 3rd episode it got REALLY annoying. Otherwise, as I said, a lovely narrator I just wish she’d had the opportunity to have it pointed out.

fabulous podcast never heard of this amazing crime, unbelievable but true would make an excellent crime film.
