Great show

I enjoy this show. Both are very clever men and although about serious subjects , the show has a lot of humour

It's balanced and bloody brilliant

brilliant banter, debate, balanced views and most importantly accessible. you don't need to be a political bofin to enjoy this. it's clear without fancy phrases and acronyms plus you'll feel smarter at dinner parties or at the pub reciting and debating with friends what's discussed!!

Just discovered

Am totally hooked on this podcast and am spending every free minute binge-listening the episodes I have missed. Agree with so much of the talks, incl. likes and dislikes — not to say loathing — of individual politicians, huge appreciation of linguistic abilities of both Rory and Alastair, their views on prisons in the UK, and just about everything else, except perhaps private health insurance (now when cancer operations are delayed?) and private education … lots to be said about that.
In conclusion: thanks so much for this incredibly brilliant and intelligent contribution, just wished we could have a Campbell—Stewart coalition government.

Informative take on state of affairs

I found this podcast an informative take on UK current socio-political and economic events and foreign affairs. The banter between Stewart and Campbell is occasionally good humoured ribbing, oftimes an insightful discussion, and most importantly, a great way to get one's arms around all the moving parts that make up our interconnected world.

Brilliant

Insightful and witty. Rory and Alastair make a compelling duo - the differences in their backgrounds, experiences and politics let them have real debates on hefty matters. They live the fundamental democratic principle that we can disagree strongly but respectfully, and that we can debate passionately with those we disagree with while remaining friends.

Informed and Insightful

These two are perfect together and draw on years of political experience and more. Riveting, engaging and often humorous. Suits my politics and world view. Looking forward to more.

podcast gets better and better

conversations from 2 different poles, always interesting, usually conversational. if I could listen to more podcasts as interesting and informative as The Rest is Politics, would tear up and leave the cesspit that is Twitter. So pleased that Rory now takes a more equal level of content with Alistair Campbell. this might sound trivial, but Rory, has speeded up his conversation and skips through his conversation, rather than having a slow and gravelly voice. A perfect combination of commentator, excellent subject, not necessarily all about politics. As an old hippy might say " keep on truckin." it is a term of endearment!

Erudite and marmite

What a contrast, Rory always reasonable, Alistair passionate and unforgiving. I look forward to each new podcast.
