On this very indecisive episode of One and Done TV, hosts Ian and John ace their exams and rule the school as they major in the 2001 FOX college sitcom Undeclared created by Judd Apatow! College freshman Steven (played by Jay Baruchel) and his newfound school friends (Apatow stalwarts Seth Rogan, Charlie Hunnam, Jason Segal, and Carla Gallo among others) navigate life on campus via parties, frat parties, lounge parties, and an Adam Sandler concert. Ian gets into it with an old, old, old Old Hollywood fight - FEUD: Betty and Joan! John gets into it with the new, new, new Netflix dark comedy Beef starring Ali Wong and Steven Yeun! Join Ian and John on the quad for some mandatory dorm group activities like reinventing yourself, campus jobs, the song How Bizarre by OMC, and a DVD release story woven into the Poelking family history! Plus, Ian and John declare themselves one and done! They revisit their 2015 One and Done podcast, their tops and bottoms of the One and Done charts, and grab their remotes to change the channel with episode 50: ta-ta for now!

    Apr 27 2023

On this very self-governing episode of One and Done TV, hosts Ian and John find themselves mysteriously stranded with the 2019 Netflix teen drama The Society starring Kathryn Newton and Gideon Adlon! Upon returning from a canceled field trip, a class of high school seniors discover that their entire community has disappeared and they are marooned within their isolated town surrounded by a dense forest - the students work to understand these mysterious circumstances as they try to survive à la Lord of the Flies. Ian returns to The Office via Superfan Episodes on Peacock! John attends the Milwaukee Film Festival and catches the “Bambi meets Apocalypse Now” animated film Unicorn Wars! Join Ian and John as they scrounge for food and party like there’s no tomorrow (or parents or internet or rest of the world or anything) while they discuss class superlatives, poison pies, the second act of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and the importance of English literature. Plus - listen up for a first ever One and Done TV occurrence that’ll rock your world, even if it’s in another dimension!

  • Method & Red
    Apr 20 2023

On this very fish-out-of-water episode of One and Done TV, hosts Ian and John enjoy suburban life plus urban flair in the 2004 FOX sitcom Method & Red starring Method Man and Redman! Rappers Method Man and Redman (as themselves) move out to the ‘burbs for a more spacious and luxurious lifestyle while encountering their predominantly white neighbors and the strict guidelines of the homeowners association. Ian gives us a fun impression of Bob Evans from The Offer on Paramount+. John wants more Ken Marino in the new season of Party Down - there’s never enough Ken Marino! Join Ian and John as they spit some game on the mic about FOX single-camera sitcom vibes, Beth Littleford aka Nancy Carell, a story from the set of HBO’s The Deuce, and pay homage to an ACL-tearing sport: Slamball! Plus - strap into your nostalgia seats as Yao Ming, Carmen Electra, and more folks from the early aughts jog your memories.
