My name is Mary Middlebrook. I'm a former homeschool mom and independent homeschool educator (www.nextlevelhomeschool.com). Back when I started homeschooling in 2006, it was a constant struggle to find educational curriculum and opportunities for my son. But as you know, in the past few years there has been an explosion of educational opportunities from amazing educators around the world and families seeking those resources. The problem is how do people find them.

I recently started a new website called IndyEd.com. It's the first database of its kind that allows educators to list their online classes, downloadables, books, kits, in-person experiences, and more into one easily searchable database so learners can quickly find what they need. Learners can search by secular/religious, age, subject, neurodivergencies, and more. We don't sell education on IndyEd.com- we simply connect learners with educators. She guides parents on supporting their child’s academic journey through psychological evaluations, IEP meetings, homeschool curriculum recommendations, and referrals to necessary services. She wrote Learning to Live: Life Skills for ALL Ages, along with 3 other children’s books and Papercuts and Glitter Jars which chronicles the adventures of her own experiences with adoption and raising a neurodivergent child. In Tracy’s books, she tries to teach acceptance to those with different abilities. Tracy wants each child (or adult) to have the opportunity to learn and even gain some independence.
