About this listen
The Zen Habits Handbook for Life is a compilation of Leo Babauta's best articles on living from a Zen Habits perspective. What will this book teach you to do? Basically the same things that Zen Habits aims for overall: how to simplify your life, how to live a happier life, how to be more productive with less stress, how to achieve your dreams. The book includes chapters on decluttering, single-tasking, eliminating nonessentials, planning your day, clearing your inbox, getting motivated, cultivating compassion, boosting self-confidence, living consciously, and much more! Think of it as a little handbook for a better life.

A great tool for self improvement
It's quite good to listen and is broken down into parts making it easy to digest, as this book require some pauses in order to reflect and assimilate with our own lives in order to figure out how to apply to our routine.

Interesting book - weird narration - is it a robot?
This was like a machine/bot reading. Couldn’t continue as it was like listening to an automated machine - stilted, weird intonation, broken up.

Joyous debut.
Wonderful novel from start to finish. It pays hommage to greats such as The Fog, The Mist yet weaves it's own delightful tale which keeps you gripped till the very end. Thoroughly recommended.

Western goal setting, not really zen
Typical western washed version of zen, glosses over a lot of core principles and sort of appropriates it to fit western agenda. Most of the book is really to do with being productive with your tasks and work, with the last chapters offering some zen advice. I really appreciate authors writing books about applying zen in the western world but this book is just too far out. Should have just been labelled as a productivity or wellness book. Pretty long winded and repetitive for such a short book, essentially just be more simplistic to allow for an easier life. Despite this, it’s still a good beginners self development book with some decent advice for every day people living an average western lifestyle. Just don’t expect much Buddhism or life changing advice you haven’t heard before

A good listen, but...
It took a while to get into. I guess because it's not really a book, more a collection of blogs, it didn't flow as a regular book does. It also took a while to get used to the dry narration
