Critic reviews

"Action-packed, with references to Fleming's Bond that will surprise and delight the most avid Bond fan." ( Mail on Sunday, on Young Bond: Shoot to Kill)
"[Cole] is a master of action, and the scenes on the sinister airship as it makes its way over the Atlantic are particularly tense." ( The Financial Times, on Young Bond: Shoot to Kill)

Great

Excellent narration, brings the story alive.
Just the right amount of horrible bit.
A bit unbelievable but that’s the fun of it.
Can’t wait to hear more.

Once Again A Good Story, Brilliantly Read.

Young Bond and Alex Ryder are somewhat interchangeable we feel, but both are hugely enjoyable. Nathaniel Parker is a fantastic narrator for the Bond stories.

Great listen

Brilliantly narrated as ever by Nathaniel Parker, makes the story more compelling to listen to when the narrator is on point. Highly recommend.

The series continues to entertain

I was very interested to see how Steve Cole would continue the good work that Charlie higson started, this the second of his is very good, he has hit the stylistic stride of the series perfectly. This story is possibly a little weaker than the previous, it rolls to a conclusion very quickly, but still found it engaging

A genius performance

Young bond never gets old and hopefully never will. A gripping contrast in characters with a nice change of scenery for the new book. The only thing was the romance kid of shifted the spotlight from the action but still aced it.
