*Twisted*
**3.5 Stars**
This was hard going to begin with as I was trying to connect with the characters. We have a missing Sister, Joy who is a high profile influencer. Her detective Sister is trying and failing to bring leads to the team investigating her disappearance.
In the background we have Mattie who is a drug addict. She is mixed up with some unsavoury characters. She is with a man who who describes himself as a super fan of joy.
I kept wondering why we were flipping between two stories until the two worlds collide. When after five years Joy is found on a sting where her Sister is part of the team involved in the raid. The trouble is Joy has no recollection of who she is. Why is that?
We then see Joy trying to unravel what or who she was previously. As she tries to remember she draws what she sees in her dreams or are they flashbacks?
Someone who is very close to her is trying to stop her from revealing anything. They do not want the past to be uncovered. Towards the end I guessed who the guilty person was but dismissed it, all will be revealed who is behind it all. That for me was when the plot became twisted, this person’s motives were unjustifiable….

Gripping, plot-twisting magnificence
The master of the plot-twist, D E White has done it again. Another superb crime thriller.
