Summary

"I can't come out because I can't let them down. But I never dreamed that he would make me feel alive again, either."

Caleb Barker is trying. But it's difficult being a widowed single dad. Keeping up with three kids, the house, and his sales job doesn't leave him much time to sleep, let alone even think about moving forward romantically. Right now, his sole focus needs to be creating a stable home for his kids, and to do that, he needs to get a promotion - and to get a promotion, he's finally ready to admit that he needs some help.

"I know I should be careful. He's my boss. But it's so easy to forget that when he touches me."

Ethan Collier is ready to escape the city - and more importantly, his string of loser ex-boyfriends. It's time to get his life back on track, and to do that, he needs a job. Getting the position as Caleb's manny should help Ethan gain enough stability to go back to school. He just never accounted for the children's dad being a DILF.

Refreshing

I did like this one...the first book of a new series. Ethan and Caleb work well together, despite one of them being in the closet for his own, valid to him, reasons. Their scenes together are well written and this author certainly knows how to make the pages sizzle during the more erotic times. Ethan is just so likeable and his interactions with the three children are magic!

Corey H. Benson's narration is refreshing because both main characters have lighter voices. Often, the older, or more "dominant ", character has a deeper voice. I liked the humour he injects into his voice during the more lighthearted scenes.

Wonderful

I really enjoyed listening to this book as Caleb hires Ethan to be his kids nanny. They have instant chemistry but avoid asking on it for a while. When they do start to act on it they keep it a secret which doesn’t end well. When Ethan has a choice of schools, Caleb has to decide if wants to fight to keep him.

Caleb and Ethan...

Caleb is a widow and a father of three. He loved his wife but now he has feelings for some one else and feels like betrayal. Ethan is a sweet man who babysits to continue his medical studies. He works for a wonderful man who is still in the closet. The interaction with the kids is awesome. The young boys are so cute and the teenage daughter is going through her own thing. Great story, lots of family dynamics and so much love all around.

This!

I got into this book from the first 10 seconds. This was an incredible story, realistic but pure fantasy at the same time. I wish I can cook as well as Ethan can, seems like that was one of the the ways he snagged Caleb. This is great story. Hats off to Peter Styles

A good start to the Worth series.

The first book in the Worth series featuring Caleb, a widowed single dad and Ethan, the manny. Likeable characters and a nice story. The narration was read at a nice pace.
