Summary

During the day, I work for Dylan McAllister, the hunky billionaire who became CEO of his own company at 30. He may be one of the hottest men I’ve ever met in my life, but he’s also the boss from hell. He has dazzling blue eyes that pierce into your soul and freeze your heart. He’s a known womanizer.

I call him AB to my friends, a.k.a. "Asshole Boss". He’s grumpy, demanding, and rude. And that’s on a good day. He’s definitely the worst boss ever.

The only reason I’m still his secretary is because I have debt up to my eyeballs, thanks to student loans and an ex who conned me into letting him use my credit cards. I’m counting down the days until I can quit and tell him to get his own coffee and lobster rolls. My calendar says that between both my jobs, I only need to work for him for three more months.

You see, Mr. McAllister has no idea that I, his “mousey little secretary”, have a night job just so I can quit as soon as possible.

That is until I end up at a bachelor party for his brother.

And then the real drama begins...because Mr. McAllister can’t seem to get over the fact that his boring secretary also pops out of cakes.

Amazing book

The story itself was really amazing the banter between the two and the love hate between the two was so good. I really did love the book.

Aerial Royce let the book down and should put in more effort and research into how places are pronounced, Edinburgh is pronounced Ed-in-bra.

Excellent book?!

Although this book is not in my usual reading genre, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The only downfall was the narrator! He cannot manage a Scottish accent. You can hear his American come right through as he attempts to do so which spoils that section.

Apart from that, I would like to say that I commend this book to you. Although, I think that I'll be avoiding books where Ariel Royce is narrating!

Queen Elizabeth II, rest in peace 'well done thou good and faithful servant'. You made a vow when you were young, 21st birthday if I'm correct, that you would carry out your duties to the best of your ability for the whole of your life, whether it be long or short. I know that I can say without doubt, that you went above and beyond what was expected of you!. If our new King, Charles III, the UK and the other Commonwealth countries which have retained you as their Sovereign, are in safe hands! May you rest in Heaven with Prince Philip, your husband, rock and stay and love of your life for 73 years, whom The Lord called home last

Another great book in this series

I really enjoyed this book as much as I have the previous books in this series. It would work as a standalone though. Abby and Dylan have great chemistry and I enjoyed their banter. I loved that there was more to the story than just their romance and I really hope that we learn more about Dylan’s family, perhaps in a book about Kurt. I do prefer that the male parts are read by a male actor and the reader’s Scottish accent needs some work but it didn’t detract from the story at all in this book. Would definitely recommend.

not a worth it

the pronunciation of some words was poor, foreign accents were tragic.
story was ok but nothing amazing. boring and predictable.
some parts didn't make sense like making dent in the debt but saving at the same time.

Amazing story

Great story.. it does end a bit abruptly but not a cliff hanger just kind of wraps the story up quite suddenly.
Good storyline and narrator is really good
