A magical performance for a magical story

Oh wow! I just loved this book. How can three sisters face so much trouble and strife and still come out fighting, even without the use of magic. I like the way the author isn't afraid to put her characters in impossible and grown up situations, it makes it feel even more victorious when they over come them and what wonderful characters they are. I love the bound between all the characters and think humanity could learn a lot from them, well from the good guys. This is book six in the series and we are still learning new things about about the characters, as are they, all things that make me want to read the next book right away, so the adventure can continue. Although I think it does work as a standalone, I would highly recommended you start with the first book and work your way through, that way you get to know the characters so much better. The story is told by all three sisters (each chapter starts with who's perspective you are reading or listening too) this work so well for the story as each sister faces her own struggles and has her own part to play. I can't wait for the next book.
To honour Alys, Maeve and Siobhan for all they have done to help the magic community, the Fae king holds a banquet with them as guest of honour. Sebastian the form dark Fae is reluctant to return to where he was once tortured but for his witch and her sisters he goes against his better judgement and returns. However things go wrong and the sisters lose there magic just when they need it the most. Sebastian was right the Fae realm is a dark and dangerous place for a visit and even more so if you can never leave. Can the sisters and there mates get there magic back, protect the Fae king and his very pregnant wife?
I really like the narrator for the series and hope she continues being so. She makes it really easy to tell which character we are following and I have no idea how she can do so many different voices.
