An old-fashioned yet refreshing change!

Having been an Enid Blyton enthusiast in my early 60s childhood, I thought I'd buy this. I wasn't disappointed. Good old stories, all relatively simple tales, from a time when children were so much more grown up in so many ways, doing their share of the chores, going off on their own, having responsibilities from an early age, and being chastised for doing wrong. I'd have happily climbed through the back of the wardrobe to go back there in time! Beautifully read by one man and one woman, both with perfect voices for the job. Not very academically-challenging but oh-so untaxing to listen to, and therefore quite relaxing and distracting.
