Summary
Trouble in Tombstone Town, Book 7
Minnie Crockwell has finally made it to southeastern Arizona, land of sunshine and warmth, and steeped in the history of the Apaches and the Cavalry, legendary lawmen, outlaws, and gunfights.
Ben is enthralled with tales of the Old West, and Minnie promises him a trip to Tombstone, home of the Gunfight at the OK Corral and Boothill Graveyard! Shortly after setting out her pink flamingos at Tombstone Tommy’s RV Park, Minnie meets a fellow female RVer who invites herself along on the outing. But a reenactment gunfight gone terribly wrong and the disappearance of her new friend, Kathy, threaten to ruin Minnie’s plans for fun under the sun.
Trouble in Cochise Stronghold, Book 8
Minnie Crockwell, having recently solved a murder in Tombstone, doesn’t run screaming from southeastern Arizona. She opts to stay at Tombstone Tommy’s RV Park for a little bit longer, determined to do some sightseeing.
The mystical Dragoon Mountains, historic hideout of the legendary Apache chief Cochise, draw her in, and she sets out to explore Cochise Stronghold with Ben. But she makes it only about a mile into the canyon before she discovers a body floating in a deep well along the trail.
Trouble in Orange Beach, Book 9
Minnie Crockwell is finally heading for the beach!
Orange Beach is a lovely little town on the Gulf Coast, and Minnie and Ben have just arrived in time for Mardi Gras, a fun-filled time of parades and festivities. Looking forward to some rest, relaxation, and amusement at Sandy Shores RV Park, Minnie hopes that no one dies by violence during her stay in the tranquil beach town.
Unfortunately for both Minnie and the victim, she finds a body on the beach - the husband of the RV park manager. No accidental drowning, the poor man has been murdered...stabbed and left to die. Was it a random killing by a stranger on a dark beach? Or did someone he knew target him? And if so, why?

Entertaining cozy mysteries
An entertaining series, well written and with great narration. Minnie finally arrives in the Southern states to enjoy some winter heat. I must admit I m glad I do not travel with her, finding so many bodies must be draining. A murder in Tombstone, at Colchise's stronghold, and at Orange beach are investigated in this stories. They are very well written with great characters, a nice twist with Ben the resident ghost companion. There are so vivid descriptions of the local scenery and a little bit of local history and colour. The narration is excellent bringing the characters and stories to life. I received a complimentary copy from the narrator and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

Another fantastic instalment.
Again another fantastic instalment from the “Will travel for trouble” series.
Minnie finds herself in hot water but just can’t stop being a nosey Parker. I love the fact she’s human and honest in that respect.
These audio books are a lovely listen, they’re cosy and easy to follow. With a few twists for good measure.
I’ve rated most of the “Will travel for trouble” series 5 stars so far because it truly has you settling down with a hot cup of tea and a blanket ready to live a little in Minnie’s life.
I feel Minnie is the Ben to my mind lately as I’ve absorbed the stories so quickly.
I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Troubling travels
This is another great addition to the will travel for trouble series. This is for three books and even though they are shorts stories when listened together they make for a great listen. Each stories is a stand alone so you don't need to listen to them straight after each other if you don't want to but I did. Minnie and her ghostly companion make for a great crime fighting team although you do wonder why Minnie hasn't come under suspicion more. No matter it is a good clean fun and despite there being a ghost in the story it is definitely a cozy mystery and not a Sci-Fi story. Off to start the next book.
Trouble in Tombstone Town book 1 (Book 7 in the series) five stars
Minnie has made it to a town that is steeped in the history of the Apaches and the Cavalry, legendary lawmen, outlaws, and gunfights. so much so that actors recrate the fights scenes in the streets everyday. That is until one of the actors gets shot for real and dies right in front of her and new fellow RV camper. Was it an accident? Did someone load the prop gun with real bullets instead of blanks? These are questions Minnie starts to ask the actors before she stumbles over the real gun hidden in all places a graveyard. So who else had a reason to kill the man and can Minnie find out the answer before moving on?
Trouble in Cochise Stronghold, Book 2 (Book 8i n the series) four stars
Minnie wants to do some sight seeing by explore Cochise Stronghold but soon finds a body floating in a well. The poor man had been shot by an arrow and Minnie and Ben finds themselves visiting a target range and an old museum to find answers as both places had connections to the dead man. Can Minnie solve the murder before she becomes a target?
Trouble in Orange Beach, Book 3 (Book 9in the series) five stars
Minnie has finally found her way to the beach and it is great timing because it is party season, know as Mardi Gras, a fun-filled time of parades and festivities. As well as catching beaded neckless she will have to catch a kill when she finds yet another dead body. The owner of the RV parks husband is the victim but he didn't drown after drinking to much, he was stabbed and the suspect is the wife but could a wheel chair bound lady really kill her husband? Minnie and Ben try to find out.
Once again the narrator puts in a really good performance and makes it an enjoyable experience. whether you are soaking up the sun on the beach with Minnie or explore old and dusty museums.

8hrs 18mins of great storytelling
Michelle Babb has such a way with her narration, that I easily forget that the books are narrated by just one person. Her portrayal of all characters, whether male or female, is excellent. I can't help but wonder how she steps so fluently from character to character without so much as a trace of the previous character left in the voice. Bravo Ms Babb.
And bravo Minnie, can I call you Minnie? I feel like I know you so well! Please keep these books coming.

I came, I saw, I called the police.
This compilation of books 7 - 9 in the excellent Will Travel for Trouble series, again sees Minerva (Minnie) Crockwell accompanied by her ghost friend, Ben, travelling in her RV around the country. She had saved hard and retired early and was now free to go wherever she wanted. Only one major problem: Minnie had a nack of finding dead bodies wherever she went.
Book 7: Trouble in Tombstone Town
One of the reenactment players is really shot in a simulated shoot out.
Book 8: Trouble in Cochis Stronghold.
The body of a local historian is discovered in a well.
Book 9: Touble in Orange Beech.
Just when Minnie thought she could finally find peace and relaxation with sun, sea and sand, a man's body is dead on the beech. And it's murder.
All of the books are witty, fun and enjoyable and, as usual, are narrated by the excellent Michelle Babb. Her warm, accented voice is a pleasure to hear, bringing additional life to the characters, and imparting an homely feeling of reality throughout. A good performance.
There was a point a book or two ago that this reader began to find Minnie's constant boxing into murder started to feel a little formulaic but, despite even more deaths in Minnie's pathway, this is no longer true, the books returning to their original freshness as Minnie becomes ever more resentful of her fate. Each story is quite short, fun to read and challenges the reader too follow the clues and find the culprit before Minnie, and her insatiable curiosity, gets therefirst. My thanks to the rights holder of Will Travel for Trouble Box Set , books 7 - 9 who freely gifted me a complimentary copy, at my reqjest. Very enjoyable, and recommended.

Cozy mystery
I love this cozy mystery. I think it is more to do with the characters then the mystery themselves. I have followed Minnie, Ben and her ex from book one. I can't wait to find out how the author ends this series.
Would highly recommend it.
