About this listen
How can you believe all this stuff? This is the number one question Catholics get asked - and, sometimes, we ask ourselves. Why do we believe that God exists, that he became a man and came to save us, that what looks like a wafer of bread is actually his body? Why do we believe that he inspired a holy book and founded an infallible Church to teach us the one true way to live?
Ever since he became Catholic, Trent Horn has spent a lot of time answering these questions, trying to explain to friends, family, and total strangers the reasons for his faith. Some didn't believe in God or even in the existence of truth. Others said they were spiritual but didn't think you needed religion to be happy. Some were Christians who thought Catholic doctrines overcomplicated the pure gospel. And some were fellow Catholics who had a hard time understanding everything they professed to believe on Sunday.
Why We're Catholic assembles the clearest, friendliest, most helpful answers that Trent learned to give to all these people and more. Beginning with how we can know reality and ending with our hope of eternal life, it's the perfect way to help skeptics and seekers (or Catholics who want to firm up their faith) understand the evidence that bolsters our belief - and brings us joy.

The clarity and common sense you would expect from Trent Horn
Really good listen and unsurprisingly Trent never shys away from the hard topics. Great analogies throughout. Especially good for catholics to listen to, to understand and appreciate our faith more deeply.

Well researched Catholic book
Although i am a Catholic there were some issues I couldn't fathom the essence of them. But as usual the greatness of Trent Horn explains why such issues arise and treats the hot issues respectable.

Better to purchase a hard copy!
I am a cradle Catholic who wandered away then came back. I found the book informative and supportive. I wish I knew all this before now!
I will listen to this book again and again. I will have to get a hard copy so I can refer back and take notes.

Concise but comprehensive
Probably the best introduction to the Catholic faith for anybody whether they be Christian, agnostic or atheist. Something for everybody.

intense
all the apologetic reasons for "why I am a Catholic " were expertly examined and explained. it was surprising how weak my ability to defend My Faith was, but with Trent's explanation I realised I was more knowledgeable than I thought I was. gave me confidence to defend the Faith & The One True Church. thank you

Great introduction to Christianity and Catholicsm
This book is a great introduction to both Christianity and Catholicism. While not a Catholic myself, I find Trent has put forward a great case without getting too in-depth and lengthy.
It leaves the listener with enough knowledge to start their journey and points them in the right direction, without trying to answer every objection that could be put forward and without overwhelming the listener with extremely lengthy arguments for each objection.
Overall a fantastic book and introductory to Christianity and Catholicism.

Great introduction to Catholicism
I have began reading the bible and this served as a good companion to listen to, the author addresses many of the main arguments non religious people and Protestants make against Catholicism. Easy to understand (coming from a very lapsed Anglican!)

Great book!
Trent brilliantly explains and helps understand the Catholic faith. It's a great listen and well worth the purchase for all people from atheist, to non catholics, and to catholics wanting to know more and deepen their faith. It helps us to understand what the Catholic faith actually is and not what we may think it is or have been told what it is by those who do not know the Catholic faith or are anti-Catholic. The Catholic faith is beautiful, as too this book. Thank you Trent!
