About this listen
Maximillian Vaughn: Once I saw Marnie Long, a sassy, sultry, charismatic older woman in a bar, I couldn’t peel my eyes off her. I wanted her. At least, for one night. I’m way too busy with my career these days for anything more. As it turned out, after recently getting burned, Marnie was on the same page as me—all she wanted was one night of fun. I was happy to be of service. What I didn’t expect during our night together, however, was how deeply we connected. And how much I was dying to see her again the next morning.
Marnie Long: After accepting Max’s surprising breakfast invitation the next morning, I was floating on air. But mere minutes later, all hell broke loose, and I had no choice but to bolt out of Max’s place like my hair was on fire. It was such a pity, too. That scorching-hot patent attorney was the best I’ve ever had.
A year later, when I ran into Max at a party, I was a very bad girl and didn’t resist doing that very naughty thing. Now, thanks to my utter lack of willpower and common sense, I’ve risked my horrible secret getting out. Even worse, I’m in danger of catching real feelings for Max. Which I simply can’t do. Obviously. I’m not sure I can control what happens next, though. When I’m with Max, I feel like a runaway train on the verge of hurtling off my tracks.
Who’s Your Daddy? is a binge-worthy single-mother age-gap forced-proximity stand-alone rom-com that will keep you laughing, fanning yourself, and swooning, all the way to Max and Marnie’s happily ever after.

Good writing
Loved that the child was annoying as well as sweet. The story was credible and Max and Marnie swoonworthy.

Best narrators in the business
Rowe writes another cracker. This book has some surprising turns but a good Romsmut standalone.
Since joining Audible I’ve listened to so many books read by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arnt.Their chemistry written by Lauren is brilliant!

Great story, great narration
Overall a great book, a perfect mix of story, humour, spice and with great narration too. This one will definitely be on my repeat listen list! Very enjoyable (and a bit sad I’ve finished it!)

Enjoyed
I really enjoyed this story. The bits with the little girl made me crack up. I love a romance with comedy included. A lot of belly laughs with this one. Credit well spent

Loved loved loved this book!
I’ve read a few Lauren Rowe books, although not recently, and in truth I bought this because of the narrators, who are in my opinion two of the best separately, and together they are just magic! I’m glad I did because I wasn’t disappointed.
Marnie is strong and independent, sexually confident and at a crossroads in her life. Having decided that she no longer wants to travel the world and play the field she’s ready to settle down with Mr Right and provide a stable family for herself and her daughter Riply. Max, ten years younger than Marnie, on the other hand, is far from being in that mind set, all he wants from life is his perfect job, and then he might consider looking for a wife, maybe, but that’s years away! He’s a workaholic, grumpy, and in no way is he used to or comfortable with children.
Marnie decides Max will be her last hoorah before she starts looking for Mr Forever as the heat between them is like nothing either has experienced before. However one thing leads to another and things start getting complicated and a bit out of hand. Not least because as soon as Riply sets her eyes on Max she decides he’s perfect material for her new Daddy, which leads to some very funny and cute moments.
There are a lot of coincidences in this book, and you have to suspend disbelief a little bit at times, but if you do that the it’s one of the best romcoms out there. There are some very funny moments, from sad moments, and some where you can’t decide whether to laugh or cry, and I also loved that Riply is downright irritating at times to Max and he’s not really sure what to do about it.
The narration is superb; I just love both narrators but Jacob Morgan is absolutely perfect as Max. The two narrators hit the mark perfectly with the snark and sarcasm, and the humour. I wish every audio book could be read by these two!
Well worth a credit. If you have one credit left and romance is you bag then this is the book for you.
