Summary

Three full-length cozy mysteries in one Westwick Witches paranormal cozy mystery omnibus box set!

1. Witch You Well

Be careful what you wish for....

Dead billionaires are not good for business! Especially at Cendrine's wedding rehearsal and the witches' cozy family inn grand opening. Aunt Pearl's hexing has created one spell of a mess that even the town's sexy new sheriff might find a little too vexing. Cen must resort to her special blend of sleuthing and supernatural justice just to keep her family in check. But can she uncover the clues before the killer strikes again?

2. Rags to Witches

Win, lose, or draw....

Cendrine is kidnapped by renegade witch Aunt Pearl, who is intent on avenging a friend’s untimely death. It's Las Vegas or bust...for all the wrong reasons. Project Vegas Vendetta quickly escalates into an all-out mob turf war as the witches are thrust into Sin City’s seamy underworld.

It’s not just the Las Vegas heat that’s scorching. One man is intent on winning Cen’s heart but she wants only the guy she left behind in Westwick Corners. All she has to do is solve a murder, out-magic her ornery aunt, and take down the Las Vegas mafia. What could possibly go wrong?

When organized crime meets unorganized magic, anything can happen!

3. Witch and Famous

Lights, camera, assassin....

A Hollywood movie shoot comes to town and journalist Cendrine is eager for a scoop. Her witchy family wants in on the action too, but shenanigans with the stars soon turn to Tinseltown tragedy.

Bodies are piling up faster than a coven’s worth of curses, and everything points back to Cen’s star-struck family. They will stop at nothing in their quest for supernatural stardom, even if that means meddling in a murder investigation.

Can Cen keep her family in check and unmask the killer before he strikes again?

Welcome to the wild, wild Wests!

Great series.

1) A difficult and interesting family finds a murder victim on their premises... A whodunnit where you can't tell how you get your information but you need to share it. I listened on Audible and I loved how the narrator made the aunt to sound like Stockard Channing so that's how I pictured her and boy did it work!
2) Cendrine has a hard time with her family pushing her in ways she doesn’t want. Love the personal bit at the end, looking forward to what happens there! Such convoluting going on.
3) How the the aunts can meddle! And cause drama! Add a difficult ex in the mix. Lights, camera and action...

Lovely, fun and comfortable cosy reads

A great and light set of magical mysteries with a good narrator.
Witch you well: Cendrine and her family make a great cast of characters with Aunt Pearl being a wonderful creation! They have a launch of their updated Inn and key people are needed to give glowing reviews/publicity but when one ends up date the madness begins and some magical elements give an extra layer to the story.
I listened to this story and the narration was great, it is a lovely start to what promises to be a fun set of cosy mysteries. I am looking forward to seeing what adventures Cen and the family have next.
Rags to Witches: Another fun mystery with the Westwick witches but this time we have Mobster action, gambling/Vegas casino setting, Pearl and her alter ego creating mischief plus many more magical exploits.
A great narrator and some interesting twists makes this a great listen/read. The story line gets a little over complicated at times but I love the family dynamics and think this is a series with plenty of scope for many more adventures.
Witch and famous: Magical movie mayhem this time, as Cen has another Aunt to deal with who is out to challenge her and her sleuthing skills!! Aunt Amber is as much of a handful as Pearl plus she thinks in her 60s she is about to become a leading lady in Hollywood. The tale unfolds with a great cast of characters and it definitely provides on the cosy mystery front!
This series is fun, engaging and they make for a relaxing listen with a good narrator.

Lovely series, great narration

I’m a big fan of Colleen Cross’ Katerina Carter series so I was curious how this genre switch would work for me - I have to say I greatly enjoyed it!
This series consists of wonderful, quaint, warm-hearted little stories with just the right mix of cosiness, magic, mayhem and murder.
Petrea Burchard is once again the trusted narrator and I just love her - she does elderly people particularly well so Aunt Pearl is just as much of a treasure to witchcraft as Uncle Harry is to financial crime!
All three volumes in this collection are amusing, entertaining and very easy to listen to.

Fantastic box set

I was looking for something new, so when I was given the opportunity to listen to this box set for free, I grabbed the chance:
I was not disappointed, there is a mixture of sibling rivalry, rebellious offspring, romance and mystery.
I still think that Aunt Pearl is my favourite character, so far although so many of them make me chuckle.
All round easy read, can’t wait to listen to the next one.

Amusing and light-hearted

These are fun set of mysteries set around the lives of the Westwick Witches.
Witch you Well - a light hearted, amusing story of the witches of Westwick. Cen is a reluctant witch but when one of the inn's guests is murdered, she has to result to her powers to help. With a great set of characters, I loved Grandma Vi, aunt Pearl and the "dog" you have a madcap range of characters all trying to do good in their own way, but causing havoc. This was a light hearted, easy listen, with a good narrator.
Rags to Witches - the second in the Westwick Witches mysteries. Full of the same great characters getting into all sorts of mischief and scrapes, the story was a bit overcomplicated this time so it wasn't such an easy listen. It still had the characteristic amusing moments though and the story moved on at a fast pace.
Witch and Famous - set around a movie shoot, where everyone seems to want to be the star, the Westwick Witches are back creating mayhem in this third book. I really enjoyed this book, it was entertaining, amusing, and mad all in one. With two aunts in town there is double the trouble for Cendrine to manage, along with helping to solve a murder. These books are really easy to listen to, the narrator does a great job with the voices and if you want a light amusing listen are to be recommended.
