Great Story with satisfying ending
I’ve seen a few reviews of the written book of these stories which were not very complimentary
I have to say I disagree and thoroughly enjoyed the series. The characters were well created and while perhaps the main villain created a picture of ‘Mr Burns’ from The Simpsons in my head he was well crafted.
Some of the descriptions of the extreme violence that occurred were quite difficult to listen to and not for the faint hearted. But they were necessary to tell the story.
The story builds well to the finale and if you stick with the story you won’t be disappointed. If you like tales of time travel, an evil villain and a hero who is perhaps destined to be in the final showdown then this is for you.
I’d live a sequel but it may be that it’s best ended here.
Finally I must say that the narrator was superb and I’ll certainly look out for more audiobooks he narrates.
