Summary

Jackson Blackwell, the Shadow Master, returns. And lo, the multiverse shall tremble. Why? For someone dared to kidnap his daughter.

In this third installment of the multiple award-nominated (which we perpetually lose) Shadow Master novels, Jackson and his crew of malicious malcontents are going on a road trip! Er, well, space...trip? Look, this time we’re mocking sci-fi, so you know, just go with it.

While on a consultation trip to a sci-fi dimension, Evie Blackwell is taken by hired mercenaries, and Jackson is stranded on a remote planet. Using all of his devious and deadly tricks, Jackson must escape, assemble his team, and travel through space and time to find those responsible. Jackson will stop at nothing to prove his commitment to his family while wreaking his patented, comedic havoc in a way that only a man-turned-god can.

Follow this thrilling, hilarious, and oddly touching story as Jackson hops dimensions, fights the forces of light and shadow, and even confronts an entire pantheon of pissed-off gods.

Won’t this be a hoot?

pretty good

I enjoyed it, but ending felt like a little bit of a rush job. I don't think it is as funny as the first 2 books but still worth a listen.

The best twist ever.

The author M. K. Gibson does it once again and better then ever.

Jeffrey Kafer is one of the best narrator ever and perfectly narrates each and every character in this beautiful creation.

Absolutely and without a doubt got my full recommendations !

Oded Ostfeld.

Ps:
Only wish that I had the fourth audiobook of this series but i take what I can get and the each of the first three where great all by themselves.

Fun as always

While I can't say I was a fan of the ending, even if it was hinted at in the first half of the book, this was an enjoyable story and still managed to get a few laughs out of me. Jeffery Kafer was great as always, and the special guest scenes were brilliant.
If you liked the first two books then getting this one is a no-brainer.

Don't cross the Shadow Master

Jackson Blackwell, the Shadow Master, returns and this time he is taking on Sci-fi realms. After his daughter Evie is kidnapped, Jackson goes on the offense and will do whatever it takes to get her back. Good series that keeps improving, nothing is safe from Jackson's wrath.

Jeffrey Kafer brings these stories to life and the cameo from RC Bray was amusing and took the narrator and character interaction to a new level.

A Villainous Masterpiece!

You will be belittled, trolled and pretty much have your intelligence insulted the entire way through this comedic masterpiece. Jackson Blackwell doesn't just break the fourth wall, he will reach out of your speakers and slap you about the face whilst telling you how stupid you are for buying the book!

The Shadow Master, not only trolls monsters, gods, demons, entire pop culture genres, nerds, you the listener, he also instigates direct confrontation with his own narrator!

I personally found this great, even with the twist, you can't be mad! Looking forward to the next one!

utter shite

as per usual this hack drills out the cheapest, easiest and most uninspiring drivel.

he thinks he's funny being all self referencing and self deprecating but he's just being cheap.

i loved it from start to finish as i did the other two :-)

To the Shadowmaster

funny as always.
I also like the fact that writer wrote itself into the book.
Will definitely give technomancer a look.

I sincerely hope there is a fourth book.

Gibson...goddamit you got me

Hmm...how do i say this
Bruh i was not expecting that. As usual A+ for the narrators ( Yes this includes Karren too...i agree with you Matt Damon rules). The story this time was better than the last and it had me on the edge of my seatvthe whole time. and after this I am convinced M.K Gibson is actually evil. well done sir well done.
