Summary
Viktor Nikulin was only 12-years-old when he first met the no-nonsense mob princess of his dreams. From the very moment, she threw a rock between his eyes, effectively bringing him to his knees, his heart belonged to her and only her. No other woman would ever compete with Nas, and that scared the living hell out of him.
Nastasia Leokov has openly loved Vik all of her life. She has given herself to him, body and soul, and for the longest time, she decided that if the sweet and handsome - yet aloof - Vik was not ready for commitment, she would give him time. Until now. Time is up for Vik. Nas cuts the cord. A decision is made. Winning Nas back won’t be easy but Vik quickly realizes he can’t lose her.

hidden gem, booktok needs to do its thing
I'm so so glad I took a chance on this series, it deserves far more recognition but im so glad I get to be the first to review this book. Samantha Brentmoor does a fantastic job with the narration her accents and her male voice for Vic are great. There are a few chapters that feature Vic's point of view which are read by a male narrator, I couldn't fault either performance.
This book has it all, romance, family, peril, hot men, bit of spice all wrapped up in a decent story line and at 15 hours of it, you really get your money's worth as this really let's the story unfold without it being rushed.
i loved Nas from her features in Lev's book which build her character and was glad we got her story next. Nas "thinks" Vic is cheating on her and he isn't committed, however nothing could be further from the truth for Vic, he thinks he shows her every day how much he loves her and committed he is. Unlike other books where you want to scream at the characters to communicate, these to do communicate in their own way. Vic is under far too much pressure and is suffering but doesn't want show it and because of that Nas thinks he's become distant. what is very clear thought the book is their love for each other and in this case, love really does conquer all. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend both this and the previous book 'Lev' like that book, this too deserves more reviews. I would love to listen to Sachas story and will be checking back for it, he's complicated, brooding and I can I'm looking forward to hearing his story unfold.
