Editor reviews

A wonderful collection of nine quirky short stories from the acclaimed Australian author Paul Jennings. Although there are the usual fantastic creatures, stray body parts, and strange objects, some of these stories also feature older characters grappling with difficult themes, including autism, bed-wetting, and mental illness. Performer Stig Wemyss is an energetic narrator adept at adopting the plaintive voices of kids and the grumpy or harried tones of their parents. A great listen for older children who enjoy the oddball and offbeat.

Critic reviews

"Great for children who like scary stories and are looking for something off the beaten path." ( AudioFile)
