About this listen
If granted just one wish, what would you choose? Money? Fame? Power? Love?
The world could be your oyster, if you were willing to take the chance.
But choose wisely and prepare for the consequences. Everything has its price. Can you afford it?
Be careful what you wish for. And remember, smiling faces tell lies...
Noah & Josh
The entire world witnessed their fight for love. Obstacles were beaten and won. They were living their best lives.
Wait? Is that all? Is that the end? Seriously, did you really think it would be that easy? Oh, hell no. Their story is just beginning.
Josh and Noah are navigating the twists and turns of their newly public relationship...to varying degrees of success.
When they are lured into the trappings of Hollywood's influence, they end up on the rollercoaster ride of their lives.
Strap on your seatbelt and get ready for a bumpy ride. You will need to hold on tight.
Temptation, by any measure, is a fickle beast. And when you are given the world on a silver platter, it's downright wicked. Truth, lies, fame, fortune.
All bonds will be tested.
Will the binds that ground them finally break?

Trouble ahead
In book one, we saw Noah come to grips with an awful past and start to move forward to a better life, then a disaster. Here we have the fallout from that as both Josh and Noah deal with real trouble in their relationship. This is much more heartbreaking than the first book in the series, but it moves much faster. I liked the long read the first book provded, but was glad this one kept moving as I wanted the characters' pain to be eased as quickly as possible. Corey H. Bennson is a new audio performer for me and I enjoyed his work here immensely. All the different emotional were hit spot on.

Hooked
TL Bradford did a super job with the second book. Josh and Noah where interesting characters to get to know better. Some ups and downs in the journey that kept me hooked. Corey H Bennson did a marvellous job with the story.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Realising What They Want More.
MM, Slow burn, Contemporary Romance, An interesting and at times emotional story of two men whose love story doesn't always run smoothly as outside influences interfere with their lives. I enjoyed the story but there were times I wanted to shout at them or give them a good shake. lots of twists and turns before they get their HEA.

Emotional
I feel this is just one of those stories that I would have bet couldn’t be resolved. These guys are looking for something totally different in their lives. Josh has this problem of feeling not deserving and his life heads that way until a friend steps in and reminds him of his original goals. Going for this career not only requires his full attention but also takes him totally away from Noah. I really was not liking Josh much. He really seems a downer and just not likeable to me. Pretty selfish overall. Then there is Noah who has the world by the tail and yet is looking for meaning to his life. He seems to do everything he can to work things out with Josh but nothing seems to work. I was so emotional during most of this story. Mad and wanting to shake Josh. I wanted something to make things better for Noah. This is a story that grabbed me and made me want to keep reading. I can’t wait to see the next story from this author. I feel Corey H. Bennson did a great job at narration. I really got a feel for these guys.

Not exactly what I had hoped for
This was a difficult listen for me. First off, it was very, very long and wordy.
I found both MC's to be wishy-washy and annoying, both deciding they were all in and then changing their mind repeatedly as the book progressed. I ended up not really sure if I even wanted the couple together in the end, based on the different types of actions, discussions, and talks they endured to make it there. It seemed as though the relationship delved into places that were harmful or unhealthy. At that point, I wasn't really very excited to finish the story.
