About this listen

Matt: Want to know the fastest way to get screwed out of a football career? Get photographed in a compromising position in a gay bar. Yep, welcome to my life.

My agent says he can fix my image. He wants me to become the poster boy for gay football players. Me? I just want back on the field. I'll do anything to play for the NFL again, even pretend to have a steady boyfriend. If only my fake boyfriend wasn't Noah Huntington III - the most arrogant, entitled rich guy in the world.

Noah: Pretend to be Matt Jackson's boyfriend, my best friend said. It'll be fun, he said. What Damon neglected to mention is Matt is surly and bitter. Being his boyfriend is a job in itself. From his paranoia over being constantly photographed to his aversion to PDA, being with Matt isn't the care-free fake relationship I expected when I signed on to do this.

It's supposed to be a win-win. I get to stick it to my politician dad who thinks no one is good enough for the Huntington name, and Matt's reputation of being the bad boy of football dies.

What I don't expect is to start caring for the guy. That's not part of the plan. Then again, neither is fooling around with him.

Oops.

Loved this!

Noah’s dad is an asshole, Matts dad (and mum tbh) is an asshole. Why can’t people just love whoever they want to love and not have to come out to anyone or get so much hatred, abuse and sometimes even physical violence 🥺😣 It’s a cruel world we live in.

This story was so heart warming though, especially as Noah and Matt just seem to get each other and hit it off right away 🥰
Some very hot and steamy scenes also which is always a bonus 😏❤️‍🔥 I just love their story and it was great that Damon and Maddox had snippets in the story too!

I will definitely be listening to this series multiple times once I’ve worked my way through. So glad it came up as a recommendation for me 🥰

Good book

I really enjoyed the book. The story was very good. During the final hour or so, I had a little difficulty differentiating between Matt and Noah, however it didn't take away from how much I liked the book.

The fact that all the different personalities sound too much alike.

Liked the story. But can’t get over that all the voices sounded too much alike. It’s annoying.

Another Hit

We met Matt in book one when Maddox went to help him after being outed . Damon asks Noah to act as Matts fake BF so it makes him look better in the public eye after what the press has painted him as however it wasn’t fake from all most the start . Plenty of laughs again in this book and also some scenes where you could really shout at people and their ignorance.

perfect fake dating

This book was so good. I loved Matt and Noah. It was a little like a grumpy/grumpy trope at first but I am totally here for that!! I really enjoyed listening to Matt and Noah falling in love they are such good characters and even though Noah tried to deny his feelings it was so obvious how much he loved Matt.

The book had the perfect amount of spice and the story was really enjoyable and kept me hooked from the beginning.

The narrators were perfect and really brough Noah and Matt to life. I cant wait to jump into the next book in the series.
