Lack of consistency in era

It’s just sex sex sex
After the first 3 sex scenes it just gets predictable after the 14th it just gets boring by the 105th zzzzz

Good narration and story line
Good narration and storyline and even better with the fact that is free if you like romance and shifter stories magic and you like this story it does take a bit of getting into once you’ve got near the end of the first book it gets you more engrossed, but it does drag a bit at the beginning of the first book

Good read
It's a slightly dark RH paranormal story. With MF and touch of MM in it.
Book 1
I enjoyed it. The FMC is obviously not supposed to be likeable in the way she says the right thing, type character, doesn't winge, or acts like a brat sometimes. She's jaded and selfish and in hiding but needs to eat, so she needs to trade...however she can in her line of creature selling business. The demon she is hiding from, from snips we gleam sounds abusive and demented.
I loved the inner dialogue and laughed at most of the banter and sass. Especially the antics of the "sweet" old lady mage! Oh, she is fun!
The MMCs are dragon shifters and, as the blurb says. They are looking for her, not knowing it is her. They each have their own characteristics, and I like I knew them as dragons first and the men.
Feel like all the characters are well written and the world building is great, too.
Oh, and the smut... or smex as some say is hot! Definitely hot! Happen fast with little oooing or ahhing, because they have instant lust between them all. Well, I guess that applies to Choas mostly. Oh, and that hell hound so sweet. And we must not forget the less than clever fish Bobbles, seriously just the times they are talking about that fish I was cracking up...poor bobbles

Our unlikely heroine is just trying to survive... and it's hard to do with 3 sexy dragon shifters and her exes cursed brother, thought dead but actually was just trapped in his hell hound shift.
A mix of lies, funny banter, burning hot smut, FMF at the same time people!, and dark retelling of past abuse as well as the dreaded EX! All meld into book 2. Making me realise this is not the main plot. There is more to this story.
The smex was okay, I mean, it was very inventive, but something was lacking, making it hot in words but lacking in substance.
But the stars I give are because I already love these characters, even the annoying, or asshole ones. I am invested and reading onwards because I enjoy their dynamic and want to see how it all develops. That is a good read.

Book 3
This book felt like a new journey title. Low and the guys are working out what this new relationship is and now the potential MILs are around! It starts off more finding her feet in the world now she doesn't have to run. Even Aggie is having fun!
But of course there is no rest and there is more out there to deal with...including Kane and Chaos ex. There is also no stop to the smex smut happy bumping beautiful uglies. It was good smut, but still something is missing and it's still falling a little flat. Although the MM action was hot! but still confusing, I have read other books with MMF in them and felt the MM connection more than in this book....then again their affection is new to them, they kissed for the first time in book 1, that was like 8 days ago in book world!
Again I laughed a lot at a lot of things in this book. Just full of moments when you can't help and go on no and laugh at their antics, or Aggies cut to the point words.
Something big is coming and I am all up to finding out what in the next book

Book 4
I just realised I am devourering this series. It's just so easy to get into.
It's not dark fantasy in the way most of the MCs come from loving families, and two have been physically or sexual groomed, then abused.. oh, and let's not forget the homophobic bullying by the ex and the demon being cursed by his brother. But...I've read darker.
This has a balance of dark torment and endless surviving angst, with a drop of finding happiness within their bonding group and family, to a dollop of smex steam smut FM, MFM, MM, MMFM. Yea had to walk in the rain a bit to cool off after the boat scene. Now that was hot, still a little flat on other smutty scenes, like hot, but the heat was just out of grasp hot. Anywayssss.....
Witty, fast pace, great banter, strong chemistry RH, dragon shifter, mage, and demon romance. With timber cutting action, and words that paint a lovely image of very tasty moments.
Book 4 ends in a cliffhanger, and it's a heart aching one. There is no Bobble the fish or Aggie antics sadly, but it's too fast-paced for that. This is a task to fulfil and survive book.
My favourite quote (may not be accurate word from word)
Arlow and Sin: "So you wanted our first time to be with Chaos, Kane and Rimmes?
*My heart trembles weaker as he nods*
That's the sweetest fucking thing anyone's ever said to me!"
Awww a incident prone "innocent" girl after my own heart.

Book 5
It had its highs and flats. The ending was good. Also, good as always is the chemistry and banter. I just felt like some good moments we rushed, making them lacklustre.
I'm not sure what I was expecting for the final book, but I just found the great/good moments didn't outweigh the flat moments.
HEA ending was nice, though
