Summary

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is now a major motion picture streaming on Netflix!

What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them...all at once?

Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved - five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.

Ugh this is soooo good

Honestly I struggled with this so much after having already watched the films and falling in love with peter Kavinsky! this was a lot to take in as he feels so different to the film but he and all the characters go on so much more of a journey that makes this book so fun to read . this book was too cute!

Love the story, hate the narrator

The way the narrator reads men's voices is very cringeworthy. Love the books and movies!

Very slow start

This has Such a slow beginning, but is good once it gets going. Recommended for young teenagers.

Gorgeous Listen

I adore this story. I’ve left watching the series long enough that listening to the original book hasn’t altered any opinion of it! It was such a great listen and the reader’s voice is superb.

The story completely encapsulates all the issues, romance and teenage drama associated with high school and the characters are well rounded and very believable.

Too many expectations

I guess because I love the movie adaptation too much (which make change, because the second part that I've finally watched spoiled the whole experience for me), I was expecting more from the book, and it just didn't live up to my expectations.
Real so-so read, with lots of annoying bits and not nearly as sweet as a movie.

Maybe it's more real, but I just wanted something different from it.

Awful narration

The story would be half decent if it wasn't for the horrible narration with a scratchy valley girl accent when characters are speaking.
