Summary
Number one bestselling author Louise Pentland is back with her brand new novel that will make you laugh, make you cry and thoroughly charm you!
Sometimes you have to go back, to move forwards.
Tabby is stuck. She still lives in the small town she grew up in . . . the town she's barely ever left.
So, when her dad drops a bombshell over their weekly Sunday dinner, Tabby takes a look at her own life. She lives firmly in her comfort zone and doesn't know how to break out. Sometimes she wishes she could go back and start all over again.
When she meets Bea, a free spirit like no one else she's ever known with an 'interesting' sense of style, Tabby quickly befriends her, recognising in Bea the change she's been craving. But soon it becomes clear that more has changed than her new friend. Somehow Tabby has been transported back to the 1980s.
With the chance to reinvent herself in another time, will Tabby finally manage to move forward?

Fantastic story 4🌟🌟🌟🌟
I had this on my wishlist just waiting for it to be released and it did not disappoint!!!
Such a lovely, touching but light hearted story. I knew what was coming as I worked it out early on but it still was fantastic to listen too.
The 80's is my favourite decade (so far) and I also had a rara skirt but I was only 14 years old in 1989 and missed out on concerts and clubbing although I remember seeing "5 Star" in concert at the Bristol Hippodrome in 1985 and I absolutely loved it.
I would love to go back in time to the 80's as an adult just to go clubbing, dance to all the fantastic 80's music and see Bonjovi, Def Leppard, UB40, Wham, Madonna etc in concert but I have seen Def Leppard & UB40 in concert and many others just not in the 80's.I
I feel so lucky actually to live as a child and early teen through the 1980's!
Louise Pentland always writes great books and I wasn't disappointed. Yolanda Kettle narrated brilliantly, I don't think I have heard her narrate before
It was worth the credit and I recommend this book.

Thoroughly enjoyable!
From start to finish I loved this book. Even though I knew what was coming, I couldn’t stop listening to it.
The narrator was excellent. She hit the right note throughout the book.
I hope there is a sequel.

Really enjoyed this
I was worried about the time travel aspect, I was born in the 90s so was slightly put off by the 80s nostalgia comments of other reviews but the time travel is only part of the full story so I still enjoyed that along with the present day storylines. I laughed out loud more than once, it’s one of those story’s where the ‘bad’ characters get their comeuppance and the ‘good’ characters get their happy ending. Loved it!

I loved this
Great story and really well read. Few technical issues in that some words or phrases were repeated but didn’t detract from story much. I’ll probably listen to this again one day.

Many relationships coverd and a heart warming mystery all wrapped up in a wonderful story
I loved that it the lavender lady was from the others other books was lovely to have that connection to the other much loved books from the author
I loved all the twists and turns in this story a story of love , relationships parents makes realise love comes in many shapes and forms makes you realise be grateful for what you have a certain/the whole mystery of the story content and you just can't wait to talk up more
I also really love I follow the author on social media all a little personal touches like the name of the shop I love how they also has a corporate relationships with this and Her love for her children and the 'sprinkle of glitter reference
I love how you get transported from the modern day back to the older days I'm back I love how it gives you question how you would feel if you was in that situation and they also think it empowers you makes you feel strong it's a really all-round feel good book and I can't wait to talk out more from this author every book I have read or rather listen to I've always been amazing and if you've come across this I haven't listen to the end of the books I highly recommend

Wilde about this book ☺️
I really enjoyed this book, and didn’t want it to end! The narration was probably the best I’ve ever listened to and I’ll check out her other work as a narrator can make or break an audiobook experience for me.
I felt that the concept was simple and innocent from a childlike imagination but interwoven with twists and turns it really worked and I loved it.
