About this listen
From Readers' Favorite Book Award winner Becky Monson comes the sequel to the chick lit romance hit Thirty-Two Going on Spinster.
Julia Dorning thought she would die a lonely spinster. That was until nine months ago, when her world was turned upside down. Now she's got a dream career as a bakery owner, and a relationship with handsome Jared Moody - a life she never thought possible.
Just as she's starting to feel comfortable in her new life, Julia is invited to battle it out on national television making cupcakes. An amazing opportunity, if she can muster up the confidence to do it, that is. Then, out of the blue, Jared goes and throws a rather large wrench in their relationship, causing Julia to have to make some big decisions. With her two trusted confidants off in wedding la la land, Julia is on her own to figure everything out.
Left to her own devices, will Julia be able to work things out for herself? Or will she make a disaster of it all?

Another fantastic story
Great to see what happens next for Julia and those around her! Plenty more laughs, tearful moments and times I wanted to scream at the characters too... Can't wait to see what happens next!
Narration was absolutely amazing ah too!

Nice change from usual series,
this was a continuation of the main character’s story rather than a spin off about other characters in the book. However was a little disappointed that she didn’t continue to grow and blossom the way she did in book 1. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Loved the second book
loved the second book, but don't think it was as good as the first one. I loved Mr Cahon appearances and especially the use of proverbial.

GREAT 2nd Book 3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐
This sequel was a lovely listen. I loved the fact it was still about Jules ,Gerry and their family. It was good to catch up on what they were getting up too. It showed a different side of them as a couple.
I loved the narrator, she did her job really well!
I am looking forward to listening to the 3rd instalment in the series now.
Yes, I do recommend this book 😀👍

Decent second book
It’s a very good second book. I wasn’t sure where it would go after the happy ending in book 1. It’s very good and well worth a listen

Annoying heroine
The story could’ve been better if the heroine’s personality and self esteem grew from the last book, instead she becomes more self centered and insecure in herself and her relationship.
