Egyptian magic rules
Theodosia actually lives with her parents but they are always at the museum and as a result, she has discovered an ability to detect curses. She is protecting the museum and her family from the curses that they bring back from Egypt. This time she has discovered a curse that even she can't break... well not in the usual way. The chaos that ensues brings her together with her brother and brings the Egyptian Gods clearly to this world and shows magic in a different way.
Wonderful characters, brilliant story and engaging times. The turn in the middle seemed a little different and had me confused a couple of times but it made sense.

Great
What an amazing voice she has! The narration is just brilliant. The story is very exciting but leaves few surprises for a 30'something such as myself but for younger listeners I think it will keep them on the edge of their seat for the whole journey from beginning to end.

I love it. I like the idea of black market and the tombs. I think that it's the best book ever!👍💞

Terrific fun!
A splendidly ripping yarn. Theodosia is funny and resourceful as, aided and abetted by her brother Henry and street urchin Will, she sets out to save Britain from the plagues of ancient Egypt.

what a find this was
Would you consider the audio edition of Theodesia and the Serpents of Chaos to be better than the print version?
yes the story is excellent and told in an intelligent way to its target audience whom many books patronize. The language and the decidedly odd heroine are a pleasure to read, but ms parrys performance is stellar I must say
What other book might you compare Theodesia and the Serpents of Chaos to, and why?
Maybe the wardstone chronicles which also feature a distinctive heroine Alice, and don't talk down to the young audience
