My favorite for 50 years
Timeless. Just love the narration. I listened to this so often as a child I could recite large parts.

Nostalgic brilliance
I first heard this on vinyl record in the 1970’s and have been searching for it ever since. It’s the finest version of this tale ever told. The term “classic” is widely overused as this is what should be referred to as a classic, Its not supposed to be electronically HD quality that’s the beauty of its theatrical timelessness. Put your headphones on and get lost in the world of characters, atmosphere and images it creates .......Wonderful

Fantastic authentic version of a classic
The performances are outstanding. This is by far the best recorded version of this children’s classic.

Terrible audio quality
We could not hear any of the words unless the volume was right up and then it was so mumbled it was very difficult to listen to.
