About this listen
Five years ago, I had the night of my life with Harris Sutton.
Out of all the people in the bar, the famous hockey player chose me.
He was in town for a game and when he left, he took my virginity with him.
And he unknowingly left me with a souvenir.
Five years later, my souvenir is my whole world.
A five-year-old boy that I never told him about.
Lucas.
We’re happy and comfortable in our little life. I’ve moved on and settled into the grind of single motherhood.
But when Lucas overhears that his father is the great Harris Sutton, he becomes determined to meet him.
And my life is thrown into turmoil.
What if he rejects us?
What if he’s mad?
And even scarier, what if all of my wildest dreams are about to finally come true?
Harris has been caught up on a girl he met years ago. Little does he know that she has an adorable surprise waiting for him! A Secret Baby awaits! Book Three in The San Antonio Hyenas series features a struggling hockey legend who gets a second wind thanks to the girl of his dreams. No cheating, SAFE, and a super sweet HEA always guaranteed.

This book was cute. Olivia T. Turner always delivers.
Narration Review- The narrators were clear and easy to understand, with some particularly stellar voice acting moments from Oliver. The female narrator was not that good a voice actor, but she was competent and had a pleasant voice.

Second chance and a secret baby!
The Veteran is a heartwarming, second-chance romance with a perfect mix of sweet family moments and steamy chemistry. Harris, a hockey player near retirement, reconnects with Fiona, only to find out he has a son, Lucas. He instantly steps up as a dad, and their bond is touching. While the plot is predictable, it's a feel-good story that leaves you smiling.
The dual narration by Oliver Clarke and Brooklyn Young really shines. Clarke captures Harris's gruff warmth, while Young brings Fiona’s strength and heart. Their duet style makes the audiobook even more enjoyable.
If you love second-chance romance with a family twist, this one’s a great listen!.

The Veteran
This story was so sweet. I love how Harris just accepts Lucas as his son straight away and they become a family. The narrators tell the story really well and Olivia T Turner has written it with the heat and passion she normally does. I can't wait to listen and read the next book in the series.

Good story - Fiona and Harris
I really enjoy Ms. Turner's writing. This was a really good book about a 36 year old hockey player and his one-night stand that produced a child. He does not learn about the child until five years later. The reunion with Fiona and his child Lucas was great. I love how he accepted the child and Fiona into his life. I also love how neither of them was with anyone else during their time apart. This book had a really nice HEA.
Oliver Clarke and Brooklyn Young did a great job with the narration. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Brilliant dual narration from Oliver Clarke and Brooklyn Young. Both bring the fun, angst, drama and heat to your ears.
Loved this story of Harris and Fiona.
Five years ago the two had a amazing night together. He was her first and has only been him. The next day Harris woke alone and felt lost, after his heart was taken with the beautiful woman named Fiona. That night left Fiona a gorgeous little boy called Lucas. Because of family she never reach out and told him. Fives pass and the three meet. Instead of angry Harris jumps at the chance of being a dad and a second chance with Fiona. This book has drama, emotions and love and heat.
Loved Harris and his growly, but caring way. Fiona is a brilliant mum and full of doubts, but the two are so perfect. Lucas is the best little boy, full of love and hugs.

great easy listen
Harris and Fionas steamy one night together 5 years ago left her with more than memories, she has Lucas and when he learns who his father is he wants to meet him. Harris never forgot about Fiona, his career is starting to wind up but learning he has a son with the only woman he ever wants, puts the fire back in his skates, well written steamy sports, second chance romance.
Audio review- great duo narration really brings the story to life!

Okay to pass the time
Am bit torn on this one as I am fan of Olivia T Turner books as she provides great short erotic steamy and fun books but on this not was an okay read. Maybe it was more the theme and story line that just not my cuppa tea as enjoyed the first two books in this series.
Personally just did not get the keeping his son a secret from The Flamethrower and reason a bit flimsy and set the tone from the start as not my cuppa tea and created an annoyance with Fiona so when not happy with one of the main characters hard to bring it back, especially in short novella but went with it and once the couple where together the fun began. For me a book of two halves, as was audiobook part one was a 'lets just listen and wait to see what happens' vibe and then 'actually now more as expect from OTT fun'.
If your fun and fantasy revolves around virgins, breeding fantasies and single mums this might be more enjoyable for you.
