About this listen

He's brash, brilliant, and drawn to controversy like a moth to a flame. For decades, Mark Steyn has dazzled audiences around the world with his raucous wit and brutal honesty. Whether he's sounding off on the tyranny of political correctness, the existential threat of Islamic extremism, the "nationalization" of the family, or the "near suicidal stupidity" of America's immigration regime, Steyn is always provocative - and often laugh-out-loud hilarious. The Undocumented Mark Steyn gathers Steyn's best columns in a timeless and indispensable guide to the end of the world as we know it.

If you are not squeamish about the truth, this one's for you

Mark Steyn at his usual best. One of the few voices I can recognise anywhere.

Unrepentently opinionated!

Would you listen to The Undocumented Mark Steyn again? Why?

Yes, because I enjoy his writing. It is refreshing now and then to listen to someone who is so gleefully politically incorrect!

What did you like best about this story?

Sharp and funny.

What about Mark Steyn’s performance did you like?

Steyn enjoys being provocative, and he sounds like he is enjoying reading his book.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed out loud several times!

Not what I expected.

I must learn to read the blurb. This is a collection of articles from Mr Styne. Some as far back as the 1987. I was expecting a much more updated look into Western politics. Instead I got a lot of random articles - some relevant to today, some ridiculous (Maralyn Monroe at 70?)

This did touch on subjects that effect us in 2018 but it was a little muddled, mixing current affairs with humerus unreality.

Overall, Styne is entertaining, and his articles are filled with humour. I laughed out loud more than once. It simply wasn't my cup of tea. My own fault, I should have read the blurb rather than scan it.
