Summary
Relieved that Lorkin is coming home, Sonea prepares to meet with the traitors on behalf of the Guild. Then bad news arrives: The Sachakan king has imprisoned her son.
As the Sachakan king tries to force Lorkin into betraying the traitors, Dannyl questions his friendship with Ashaki Achati. Can he trust the Sachakan? Not at all, if Tayend is right. But do Tayend’s suspicions spring from good political instincts, or jealousy?
Easily evading capture by the Guild, the Rogue knows only one obstacle lies between him and his ambition to rule the underworld: Cery. Forced into hiding, protected by Lilia, Cery must wait for the Guild to find his enemy. But is Black Magician Kallen purposefully failing in his task?
And Lorkin must decide where his loyalties lie, for whatever choice he makes will require a great sacrifice.

Excellent!
Have read all of Trudi Canavan's books and as I couldn't carry this book around with me I listened to it. This is a great story and this book brings the trilogy to a neat conclusion. Can't wait for a new book and possibly a trilogy or more?

Trudi Canavan
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would highly recommend this book to friends, because I just want to rave about this series of books.Would be nice to talk to others who had also read the book
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Traitor Queen?
The battle
What about Richard Aspel’s performance did you like?
Yes he was brilliant. Just a few moments when his performances changes.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
The book was far to long to listen in one sitting. I read this book at every spare moment.
Any additional comments?

Excellent
From start to finish this book is interesting and enjoyable, my only problem was in parts it felt a little rushed, the war was over in no time at all. But saying that I will listen to it again and feel it is a fitting end to the trilogy, I look forward to finding out what direction she takes her world next

a fine finale
so i read the first two books of the trilogy and decided to listen to the last one. the audiobook was well read and the book itself was very good. the one downside was that the book skips between characters a lot and sometimes its hard to follow when listening.

Fantastic end to the Trilogy!!
If you have not experienced trudi canavan before I would start with the Magician's Guild first as it it's the trilogy before this one. A combination of great plot twists, interesting characters and a beautifully sculpted magical world once you start listening you will not want to turn it off!

Awesome!
Loved this book, finished off the trilogy nicely. Must admit I didn’t want it to end and would love to see another book featuring these characters in the future.

a bit anti climactic
All and all I like Trudy Canavans books, her series milleniums rule is one of my favorite fantasy series. However both these trilogies are a bit dialogue heavy with characters constantly second guessing their actions. It gets a bit dreary after a while. There are allso great build upps with kinda anticlimactic finnishes, this book in particular. I know by by now her style of writing and didnt expect an epic resolution to it all but a small part of me had hope that it would be more then it was. Dont get me wrong the books are good, they really are. I would have just prefered a bit more action I guess.
