Summary
The stunning and magical new novel from the Number One bestselling author
Are you taking your life for granted?
Lucy Silchester is. She’s busied herself with other stuff: friends’ lives, work issues, her deteriorating car, that kind of thing. But she’s stuck in a rut – and deluding everyone. Only Lucy knows the real truth.
Time for a wake-up call – a meeting with life. And life turns out to be a kindly, rather run-down man in an old suit, who is determined to bring about change – and won’t let Lucy off the hook.
Sometimes we all need to make time for our life…

Different and Engaging
Cecilia Ahern has still yet to disappoint me, another book I loved. I look forward to my next one.

An unsure read
I did listen to the whole story, mostly out of curiosity because I had no idea what the book was about or where it was going. It was funny & narrated well but I think I must have missed the point. I thought that epilogue was the most enlightening part of the book, sorry.

Nice quirky book
It took me a few chapters to get 'into' this book but once I did I got really addicted. The main character Lucy is really witty and relatable (for a fellow procrastinator like me). Its an interesting concept that I enjoyed 'reading' and woulddefiniteky recommend it to others.

A little long winded
I struggled to get into this book, and at times found it a bit long winded. The Narrator reads it well, nice sentiments in the epilogue and a sweet story but not one of Cecelia Ahern's strongest works I don't feel

Not her best
You have to suspend your mind of reality to get into it. The story is original, but not that interesting and the ending corny and predictable.

Brilliant concept
I loved the concept and construct of this story and superb narration as ever and despite being fantastical it was truly relatable - we’ve all lied about something at sometime, right?!

Lovely quirky story
I enjoyed this book and it was easy to get in to. The characters were well presented. The main character is very likeable, struggling to appear confident and happy by weaving a web of innocent lies to hide the fact that she was not, which in turn confuses both family and friends. Whilst she tries to come to terms with the end of a love affair, keep a job, maintain her friendships and pretend all is fine, in walks "Her Life" who helps her to face things and move forward. Lovely quirky story. Recommended.

Love Love Love it.
Another great story from Cecilea Ahern. She writes easy to follow stories without complicated plots. This is one of my favourite books so far.
Love the way the main character has to answer to her life!
Something we should all have to do, and hopefully with the same funny outcome.
Well worth a listen if you are a fan of her books.
