Incredible…

Incredible as in unbelievable. Why do authors ruin stories that begin with so much potential by stretching events to the point that it is impossible to suspend disbelief?

unexpected plot

it kept me awake, I couldn't switch off to go to sleep. brilliant, clever, story, well narrated, hope it's made into a film.
