About this listen

Have you ever met someone who makes your blood boil simply by existing? Or turn your notorious, ice-cool demeanor volcanic in a nanosecond? Perhaps smother your usual air of indifference with a lightning-charged thundercloud, threatening to strike at any moment?

Because that's what she does.

It's been seven peaceful years since I last saw Beulah Holmes. Seven peaceful years of practicing the law without her arguing against me, and if I never saw her again it would be too soon; but I'm not that fortunate.

She hasn't changed a bit.

Still the same shouty mouth threatening to burst my eardrums. Still the same murderous eyes which laser through me, promising to reign Hell. Except this time, the longer I have to sit opposite her, the longer I have to notice that the murderous eyes are also the most beautiful I've ever seen. And that shouty mouth with its full lips curled up in a snarl? I want to know what else it can do.

As each day passes, hating her isn't the only thing becoming harder. Beulah Holmes was my own personal devil, until the day I realized she wasn't . . .

And then I made it my mission to bring her back from Hell.

The Tuesday Club just keeps getting better 😍

Okay The Tuesday Club just keeps getting better and better!! 😍

After getting little snippets about how much Rafe hates Beulah in the first book, I was so excited to read their story! It was the perfect Enemies to Lovers, where they actually full on hated each other and not just a mild dislike (like some romances are). I mean, Rafe had a dart board with Beulah’s face on it 🤣

Rafe did not disappoint 👏🏼 I loved how his brain worked, and the bat cave he added to his law firm. The case was actually so interesting to follow, and it felt like I was watching an episode of Suits! Also Rafe was giving off major Harvey Specter vibes 🫠 He was so loyal to his friends and obsessed with Bell. I love the family they created for themselves and I just want to be a part of it!!

Beulah’s story was so heartbreaking. She was so lonely, I just wanted to jump into the book and be her friend. She was so baffled by the boys friendship, but I really loved watching her open up with them, especially with Kit. I felt like a proud mama watching their kid make their first friend 🥹

The Tuesday Club found family was so pure and loyal, but I really love how they’re not afraid to knock some sense into each other. They do it from a place of love and are always cheering each other on and helping out when someone needs it.

I read some of the books out of order so I’ve already read The Third Baseman, and got to know Penn there, but now after the Tuesday Club I can’t wait to read Penn’s book! He is a literal genius so I’m really excited to see his brain at work with the Lions! 😍

Tropes:
