Summary
Jodi Picoult's poignant number one New York Times best-selling novels about family and love tackle hot-button issues head on. In The Storyteller, Sage Singer befriends Josef Weber, a beloved Little League coach and retired teacher. But then Josef asks Sage for a favor she never could have imagined - to kill him. After Josef reveals the heinous act he committed, Sage feels he may deserve that fate. But would his death be murder or justice?

fantastic book
I really enjoyed this audio book. The mesh of stories complimented each other and the authors descriptive skills were excellent. the narration of all characters really brought them to life. It's the best I've listened to for a long time.

A stunning book, gentle and eloquent yet gripping.
Where does The Storyteller rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of the very best. It works on many levels and is as much about the role of story as the story itself.
What other book might you compare The Storyteller to, and why?
`I find that difficult to answer, because of the narrative of the process of story, the allegories, as well as the challenge of the subject matter.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A story of the impossibility of moral exactitude and victory of the human spirit through the greatest adversity.
Any additional comments?
Really enjoyable, fabulous blend of characters, fiction within fiction, great plot and sensitive, compulsive narrative. Loved it.

Simply The Best Book I have read!
From the beginning it hooks you. The characters are fascinating and I honestly felt I was missing them when I had to stop listening to the book inbetween opportunities to listen. I don't want it to end. Harrowing at times, addictive yes, beautiful throughout. Thank you JP!

Good story but drawn out
The story behind this book is really quite good. I felt bits were very drawn out just to make the book have more pages and some things I found unnecessary - but the basis of the story and the twist at the end is good.

Great narration
Fantastic story with a sometimes difficult to hear subject matter.
The narrators were Fantastic, especially the man who I'm about to Google to find out what else he's read. The all really made the characters come to life.
Can't recommend this book enough.
