Summary
Life on Frogmorton Farm is never peaceful for long . . .
Discover book two in the magical Frogmorton Farm series from Jodi Taylor, author of the internationally bestselling Chronicles of St Mary's.
Life is good at Frogmorton Farm. Yes, Jenny and Russell are still broke. Yes, the roof still leaks. And yes, the Checklands are about to become the long-suffering owners of a battalion of trouble-seeking Patagonian Attack Chickens. But life is still quite wonderful for someone who used to be called the Nothing Girl.
Jenny Checkland knows better than to count her chickens, though, even the Patagonian ones. Particularly because an all-too-familiar face from the past seems to be popping up wherever she goes. She would swear it was her sinister cousin Christopher, last seen being enthusiastically hurled out of the back door by her wayward husband.
But he couldn't possibly be stupid enough to come back and try again . . . could he?"

Another Brilliant Jodi Taylor story
Cane here as many probably have from the at Mary's stories and after struggling slightly with book 1 have to say this was just excellent flowed nicely and concluded with a full stop , And the readers interpretation is sublime

Sad, Funny, exciting, interesting and oh so beautfiul
This series was not what I was expecting after the previous series I’ve read by Jodi. I absolutely loved it though, I loved Thomas and wish we all had our own Thomas there to be our guardian angels. The story line was great too. I was sad to end this series, glad to see there is a short Christmas special! This was also so well narrated, captured all the characters so well, really brought it all to life.

A lovely end to the Frogmorton story
Jodi Taylor writes beautiful books. They're full of gentle humour but deal with such strong subjects and fantastic ideas in a sensitive and appealing way. The Something Girl is no exception. Jenny and Russell Checkland are back with a new baby daughter and some Patagonian Attack Chickens. Along the way, they manage to upset their new neighbour and Thomas is back but he's not the only returning character and at least he's welcome.
I love the books and I think the choice of Lucy Price-Lewis as the narrator is perfect. Listen to "The Nothing Girl" first and then come back for this one.
