About this listen
Sarah Garland, a retired homicide detective who's gone through a painful divorce, seems to have found her peace at last, as a coffeeshop owner in the sleepy (and freezing) small town of Snow Falls, Alaska. What she didn't expect was for her past life to catch up with her. Or for her new life as a mystery writer to inspire a deadly killer to target her.
Yet when the killer leaves a frightening clue - a creepy snowman, wearing a leather jacket and eating a peppermint candy cane, left in front of her cabin - Sarah begins to suspect Conrad Spencer, the new detective in town, who is pursuing a murderer of his own. Soon it becomes obvious that the sleuths would have to join forces in order to catch the killer. Sarah and Conrad must put their tragic pasts behind them and find out who's after her before the trail becomes frozen.

Let it snow.
This is a short story that I quite enjoyed. It did have its bad points the main one for me was the main character she was to wimpy to have been a cop, I could understand it if she had suffered a drama and was suffering post traumatic stress but she just left the police force because of a divorce. Her emotions were all over the place one minute she is afraid of a snowman and scared to leave the house, the next she is running to her car because it is to cold outside for anyone to still be out there. Other than that it is an interesting story and I think the series could have potential, especially if the detective tries to uncover his wife's killer and the main character grows more confident in herself.
Sarah is an ex cop and after a divorce has moved to Alaska to run a coffee shop and write novels. She is pleased to find out a friend Is coming to visit, until she finds a snowman outside her front door. The killer of her latest book used snowman to torment his victims before killing them. Has one of the criminals from her past caught up with her? Sarah must work out what are clues left deliberately by the killer as red herrings and what are real clues that could lead to identifying the stalker. With the help from a new detective in town who knows a little bit to much about Sarah's past she will have to find out how the stalker knew she was the author of the snowman killer series when no body else did. Not even her best friend.
The narrator was okay, not the best I have heard or the worst and once you got use to the voices you could tell each character apart.

The Snowman Killer
This story is quite good as far as it goes, I got a little confused as to what was happening at times but I think that was the narrators doing, sorry but i thought the narrator was terrible. Her voice was OK but when she tried to do different voices for each character half of them all sounded the same and they were like slow witted idiots which i am sure the author did not intend them to come across as. I do not like leaving negative reviews but...

Story ok, but the narrator ruined it for me
The story was exactly as the title suggested, but the narrator was difficult to listen to. Fine to do her own voice and accent, but her version of an English accent was terrible, and she made the male voices sound like she was aiming to voice creepy/sleazy/degenerate.

Unable to listen to recording voices aweful
This is one of the worst recordings I have tried to listen to. Sheree’s are awful and totally ruined it I couldn’t listen to it. A total waste of money
