About this listen

It's hard being that woman, the one whose husband disappeared. He went out five years ago for a pint of milk and never came back. So here I am with a daughter who blames me for everything, a son trying his best to pick up the pieces and a gaggle of neighbours who are incredibly nosy. Then I find a left luggage ticket in the pocket of one of his old coats and suddenly I'm thinking... What if he's not dead? What if he's still out there somewhere?

Too much detail

Generally I enjoyed the way the plot developed, but I thought there was too much detail in Danny’s part of the story which became rather boring.

The Perfect Book For Me

This book comes to life through the brilliance of the narrators. I have never heard better. The story was intricate but (to me) utterly believable, I am totally in awe of its inventor and eager to read more by him. The characters will never leave me and I will forever wonder what became of them.

A Great Listen

Was not to sure when I first started listening, however turned out to be a good book to listen to whilst driving. a bit of everything in there. I was a bit disappointed with the ending which appeared to be cut short, unless of course there is going to be a sequel. All in all really enjoyed the audio book.

Lost its way a little

The first half of the novel was great. Funny, page turner. However part two was slow and didn't seem to get going.

rambling and unfocused

What would have made The Secrets We Keep better?

more of a real story line

What could Jonathan Harvey have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

If it did not go on in detail on things that did not develope the storyline. The characters were not likable and in the end |I gave up as it just got boring

What three words best describe Gareth Bennett-Ryan and Emma Gregory ’s voice?

Irritating and annoying
