Good but...

Narration of prisoners in space great, Fraizer Heines does a brilliant impression of the second Doctor, and the story was really good. However maybe I should of expected something different but was disappointed in the second story which seemed to be the first part of a non-doctor but just Dalek story. The rest of the audio was interviews, which were really good, except for the ones on the second story which gave away the whole plot! On the whole though very well worth a listen.

Second doctor story.

Really enjoyed it, new or old stories have same appeal for me. Have been a doctor who fan for ever. Jean Marsh was an excellent story teller.

Disappointing

While this has undoubted curiosity factors historically for fans of Doctor Who it suffers from antiquated sexual politics in the main story and an overly mannered central performance in the second on. PRISON IN SPACE, adapted from an unused script from the 2nd Doctor era, seems to be a male reaction to the feminist politics of the mid to late sixties and would have been thought wrong by many at the time of broadcast. If you can look past this it's a mildly funny farce with some decent performances from the cast. THE DESTROYERS is also adapted from an original script, this time from Terry Nation's pilot for an American Dalek series. I enjoyed the story but the narration fell short of the usual standards and was very clunky. Overall its hard to recommend but die hard fans will probably need to hear it!
