Summary

New extended and re-edited version - June 2021.

Cora Caspian has been nanny to adorable triplet girls since the day they were born. But when their parents die, she’s stunned when their will dictates that a former Navy SEAL become the girls’ co-guardian with her.

She’ll be in charge of the girls’ health and happiness...and William Royce will keep them safe. Of all the men in the hired security firm, William seems to her to be the least likely to take care of three toddlers. He’s all alpha male, muscle, and military might.

Having been raised as a military brat, she knows what it’s like to grow up in a home with a man who puts duty first and feelings last. But William is nothing like her father. He takes his job seriously, yet is good with the girls in a way she never could have anticipated. And when he’s alone with Cora, good doesn’t begin to describe how he is...

As an orphan with no idea how to be part of a family, being named guardian of three toddlers just might be William’s worst nightmare. Even worse is sharing a home with their stunningly attractive nanny-turned-mother, who’s made it perfectly clear she thinks he’s the wrong man for the job. But when it becomes apparent someone’s trying to harm the triplets, William’s protective feelings get riled up. Cora is riling up feelings too, ones he can’t ignore. Suddenly, being part of a real family may be what his lonely life needs - even if it’s only temporary.

As the danger to the triplets grows, William realizes all the warm and fuzzy feelings are getting in the way of his duty. To protect the triplets, he’ll have to put up a wall between the new family he’s built, but losing Cora and the triplets might just destroy him.

Charming!

The SEAL's Unexpected Triplets is a wonderfully written and engaging military/Ex-SEAL romance. The characters are well-developed and appealing, and the storyline is sweet, romantic, with loads of drama and some suspense. Cora becomes guardian to three adorable triplets toddlers girls. The girls' lives are in danger, and William is appointed as their protector. Both are super protected of the girls. Cora and William, finding an unexpected connection while immersed themselves in family life. Really enjoyed how their story unfolded and their interactions.

Excellent narration by Allie Shae. Aside from having a beautiful voice, Shae portrays the personality and connection of the character, bringing the story to life. I'm looking forward to the next book series and do recommend this audiobook.

Cora and William (Paige, Melody & Haley)

This book will definitely get you right in the heart ❤
I don't want to give too much away but I must say the last chapter and epilogue were my favourite for many reasons, William did everything to ensure his girls were safe even if parts had him keeping his distance. This book incorporates everything that makes the saying "being blood doesn't make you family" ring true!.

Cora and William!

Cora has enjoyed being the nanny to Haley, Melody, and Paige, three-year-old triplets, so when their parents pass away she is happy to become the guardian of the girls that she loves as if they were her own. What she didn’t expect was to have to share custody with William, a former Navy SEAL.

After retiring from his career as a Navy SEAL William is trying to adjust to life as a civilian and is working at a security firm with former military personnel. He believes that the circumstances behind the death of the triplet’s parents was suspicious, and he is concerned that they are in jeopardy as well. The one thing he hadn’t expected was that the biggest challenge would be denying the feelings he has for Cora and the girls.

I enjoyed the evolution of both these characters as they had to overcome the emotional scars of the past if they were to have a future together. I thought the narrator did a great job at ensuring the suspense and emotion of the story was felt.

An unexpected great story

This story will grab your heart and not let go . Both authors wrote a love story full of twists and turns . This story is very detailed, a story of an ex seal / military hero full of suspense and twists and turns.
The hero William and the heroine Cora are attracted to each other but they both are fighting it but one gives in. Cora is in charge of her family since her parents left the earth. William doesn’t know what to do grab it and fall in love

Allie Shae is a new performer for me. Her voice is strong and good

Triple threat for love

A beautiful listen of a well written and beautifully narrated romance. Our main characters are Cora and William along with three young triplets who have lost too much, too soon in their little lives. Former SEAL William is thrust into their lives in a unique situation and soon finds himself battling an inner struggle to become part of their lives or do his job and save their lives. Cora struggles with a work balance as well as accepting help when offered...Love the strength of these characters, the uniqueness of the triplets personality and Williams ability to show his softer side from the very beginning. Dual narration was perfectly done and brought these characters to life and the storyline flowed perfectly and was a great balance of sweet, steam and excitement.

Very sweet story

An almost overly sweet story with little suspense and very predictable all the way through to the end. The fact that it was so predictable and 'romance by numbers' was why I had issue with this book. It's an easy read with no surprises. As the story is about the family being under constant threat from harm, I expected there the be more grit, danger and action, but instead it was played extremely safe, with the focus on them acting like a family. There was definitely much more content about family life and the kids, than romance or suspense. When they found out who was responsible for the threat, it ended in a very subdued way despite the big build up. One thing I did really like about the book was the narration of Allie Shae. Her narration was smooth, calming and very capable of tackling all the character voices, which she did well.

I was given this book for free of my own choosing and voluntarily left this review.
