A very good read

This is right up there with the best of Ava Harrison's books. It's full of intrigue, romance and tugs at your heart strings at the warped reality a pair of sociopathic parents had created for their children. But love and judgement triumph at the end.

amazing!

loved this book, the characters and the narration from both of them the whole way through, its been the most real life like story I've listened to date and so much thought and feelings had clearly been poured throughout the script, I would definitely recommend this!, had me laughing and loving in the hours I was consumed by it, many thanks

Fantastic dark romance!

When I saw these Ava Harrison and Vanessa Fewings were teaming up, I was excited! What they gave us is absolutely incredible. If you are a fan of dark romance, enemies to lovers, age-gap, deceit, suspense and passion, you have found the book you are looking for! It's packed with a little bit of everything and had me up all night til I finished! Cassius has had his family taken from him, and is seeking revenge from the man who took them. What better way than to start with is daughter? Little did he know what this would do to him! Anya is a strong willed,passionate woman, but falling for her kidnapper? Not in the cards. Her family would come for her, right? Secrets kept, hearts broken, unpredictable circumstances and a fiery passion had my ears burning for more. I love a good story with unforgettable character and amazing story, and these two brought it to me! This has twists and turns that at times will make you cringe and other times make your heart sing all rolled up into hours of amazing listening. One of my favorite listens so far this year.

Connor Crais and Vanessa Edwin are amazing story tellers and bring this book to life. Cassius is dark yet holds a vulnerability around him that only Anya can see. Crais hones in on that part of him and creates his personality perfectly. Complimenting the darkness, Vanessa Edwin brings a light in Anya, creating a strong and willful adversary with a heart. These two enhanced this romantic suspense and had me spellbound.

Ava Harrison and Vanessa Fewings together bring us ‘The Ravishing’ and WOW! It's incredible!
 
Cassius Calvetti is a man you wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of. An event from his past has turned him into a very dangerous man. Out for revenge, he has his sights set on one person – Anya Glassman.
 
Anya has led a very sheltered life. She’s very much a prisoner in her own home. She resents her father (the man controls everything she does) and, although Anya spends the majority of her time inside, she doesn't have a clue what goes on behind closed doors. That soon changes though, when Cassius enters her life - secrets are revealed and things for Anya will never be the same again.
 
The audiobook is narrated by Connor Crais and Vanessa Edwin – and what a fantastic duo!  I loved reading the book, but loved listening to it even more. Connor’s voice is exactly how I imagine Cassius’ to be, and Vanessa depicts Anya perfectly. This is one audiobook I will definitely be listening to again.
 
A good interesting plot and very well written. 5 stars!

please don't miss this book

unmissable. what a fantastic story with twists and turns you dont see coming. the characters captivate you right from the start and the narration is awesome. i have never heard these two before ar read a book with these two authors combined but I will be looking out for any others they may do and I WON'T BE MISSING THEM. Dont miss this book. if you do you will miss out on a gem !!!!
