Great U.S. History Lesson!
Listening to this book in traffic on the way to work was a worthwhile experience and transported me back to the beginning groundwork of America’s founding. The deep professor-like voice made me feel like I was in a history lecture that was actually mostly interesting and not so much a snoozefest. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys history or nonfiction.

Helps Get a Clear Picture
While some may argue that a quick history cannot capture the full complexity of America's story, this book admirably rises to the challenge. It strikes a delicate balance between breadth and depth, offering readers a nuanced perspective while respecting their time constraints. I loved how it helped me draw a timeline for events I knew about. Highly recommended.

An amazing crash course on US History
As a history teacher I was looking for something to give me a new breath and outlook on history in a unique engaging way. I am a month away from having my students take their end-of-course exams. This book is a fantastic and entertaining way to approach mastery of this subject!

Very insightful, yet concise history of the US!
This is a great book that summarizes both the history of the united states and human nature. As much as things change with unexpected events there are timeless things that seem to repeat themselves. Mainly with human nature and our reactions to these unexpected events. Looking back at our history can give some insight to our future. Highly recommend!
