a brand new insight into a traditional tale

firstly i would like to say that before listening to this book I had never heard of this particular fairy tale. I grew up with all the classic childhood stories bring read to me night after night until I knew them off by heart and word for word to this day.
It was so refreshing to hear something completely new to me and it was a breath of fresh air from the other overtold tales.
The book is wonderfully narrated and is completely engaging to listeners of any age. In my opinion it is just the right length to tell a good story but not lose the interest of younger listeners with shorter attention spans. It is the sort of traditional and whimsical story that takes you back to your carefree childhood and I loved every minute . In this day and age I think there is a need to keep retelling stories like this to keep the magic alive. Highly recommended
