Summary
International best-selling author Jason Starr's seductive, genre-bending thriller series begins with this New York Times Book Review Summer Pick!
Simon Burns is unemployed and on the verge of divorce. And he’s never felt better.
His strained marriage gets pushed to the limit when he’s unceremoniously fired from his job and reluctantly takes on the role of stay-at-home dad for his three-year-old son.
Then, Simon meets a tight-knit trio of other dads: Michael, Charlie, and Ramon. Their strength, confidence, and ease with the darker side of life lure Simon into their mix. Now, after a crazy night out with the guys, Simon has an insatiable appetite for life - for running through the woods of Central Park, for making love to his wife, and for downing meal after meal of rich, tender meat.
In fact, Simon starts to suspect that when Michael welcomed him to “the pack", he was talking about much more than male bonding....
Praise for Jason Starr’s The Pack series:
"You can't anticipate what happens." (Charlaine Harris, number one New York Times best-selling author of True Blood)
"A seductive adventure." (Yahoo! Shine)
"Starr succeeds in keeping readers at the edge of their seats." (Library Journal)
“The Packs is pure Jason Starr, and is one of his most gripping novels yet." (Spinetingler Magazine)

not what I thought
I thought I would be getting an urban fantasy/horror book. instead I got the stepford wives with horny "werewolfs" and that term should be used loosely. There's nothing horror in this book, so if that's what you're after, like I was, I'd give it a miss. however if you're looking for relationships and drama and marriage counseling then give it a go.
