Fun story
This was one of Shari Low’s older books. Although I really enjoyed it, it didn’t quite live up to the quality of her more recent books. But still a really worthwhile listen.

Characters a bit too wishy-washy , story definitely … uneventful and lacking in the cleverness compartment that could have made it bearable

Better to read this one rather than listen
Wouldn’t want this book to be anyone’s first experience of listening to a Shari Low book. They are usually full of humour and Glasgow wit but all that just falls flat when delivered in a very British accent. Would like to listen to a re-do with Helen McAlpine narrating ……..and maybe even Josie on the cruise to put Drew Gold in his place.
