About this listen
I was eight years old when I found out I had a father. It was the same day I held my dead mother in my arms while praying her life wasn't really over.
I was dropped into the middle of a new family not long after that. My dad, his wife, and their two kids to be exact. My new brother was ten years old and my sister was five. It doesn't take a genius to figure out I wasn’t supposed to be there.
My family ended up bigger than that though. My dad was a member of the Aces High Motorcycle Club.
From the very beginning I was ostracized because of who my mother had been. The daughters of club members were generally known as MC Princesses. My little sister was one. My title was a bit different, and proved that my mom's sins would always be held against me. I was The Other Princess.
My family, both by blood and MC ties, did wrong by me so I walked away from them. That was until he came home from the Army.
He tried to fix everything.
He tried to win an unattainable heart that had shut down years earlier.
I would know since it was my heart he was after.
He didn't realize it would take a miracle.
Secretly, I hoped I could still believe in miracles.
*Note: The Aces High Charleston Series should be read in order. The Charleston Chapter Series of the Aces High MC Franchise deals heavily with internal family themes, and is not your typical MC against MC with romance thrown in book. This is a family drama. The family just so happens to live and breathe bikes and the MC lifestyle. The only things blown up in this audiobook will be a few hearts. ;) You have been warned! This is a full length novel.

A thought provoking story
This emotionally poignant story shows how the consequence of a few harmfully uttered words can change the life of an eight year old girl, even into her young adulthood. One brave young man helped set straight the repercussions of the rift.
Sarah Puckett and DC Cole narrated this thought provoking and beautiful story.

Real forgveness is hard
Wow, real forgiveness is not that easy, specially when you had a huge betrayal from someone who you trusted and was supposed to protect you. This is what happened to Ever, and it was really heartbreaking to see. I was really mad and upset, and I don'tknow what would I have done if I were in her place.
I really love Declan and how he never give up on Ever and the way he helped her toward her journey of forgiveness, he's really great!
As for the narration, well, is Sarah Puckett, so you can not expect this to be nothing but great, she was amazing expressing all the emotions and portraying the characters really well.

ALL THE FEELS!!
Audiobook review. The emotions are crazy with this one. I found myself utterly indignant at how the heroine was treated. The story evoked a very real reaction. I was sad. I was mad. I was devastated. I was proud. I was happy. The book simply made me feel.
Our heroine is AMAZING. Her experiences could’ve easily made her bitter and resentful but she has the biggest heart. I loved everything about her. Even her flaws. Our hero could not have been more EXTRAORDINARY. He is her champion in every sense of the word and loves her in a way that is so very special. These two are #RelationshipGoals. Not perfect, but perfect for one another.
The plot hooked me off the bat. I actually sat at the barber with my kid getting his haircut and trying to hide the tears streaming down my face. 😭 It was very well written. The pace, imagery, characterization, development were on point. The use of secondary characters was very effective in keeping the story moving forward and interesting.
The narrators, Sarah Puckett and DC Cole, did a great job in their portrayal of the characters. The voices matched the image in my head. The tone, pace, and pitch were good. Transitions were smooth.
I totally recommend this book. It’s going on the Favorites shelf. I will definitely be on the lookout for more from this author.

The Other Princess
What an emotional ride. I will warn you there is a very high chance of some ugly crying when listening to this book. So much tragedy and betrayal happens that your heart will just break. We do find out happy ending but it is a long ride to get there.
The narration was amazing. This is the first time I’ve heard these two together and I have to say it is a match in heaven. Give stars are the way around.

Just loved it
Beautifully narrated by Sarah Puckett and D C Cole (oh my goodness his low growly voice!!!). Such emotion and empathy just pulled me right in and I forgot that I was listening to just one person.
When you consider the theme of the book it somehow seems wrong to say I really loved it. But I did, I loved it. The characters are so beautifully written, I felt what they were going through with them. My emotions followed theirs on the roller coaster they went on. There was more than one time I wanted to slap people silly for what they were doing, yes I got that involved. My only quibble is the epilogue...I'm really not at all sure who they were talking about. It hasn't ruined the book just left me with questions....

Magnificent Story & Listen🎧 Heartfelt & Emotional!
Wow, this story just blew me away! Christine Michelle is a new to me author and I will definitely be checking out some of her other work. “The Other Princess” is a beautiful story, one that tugs at your heart. It well written, well told story and completely captivating, once I started the book I did not want to put it down. It is not your typical MC story, it is so much more. The characters are well developed, Ever, the lead character is the star of the story, well it is her story and how her family and the MC club treated her. She did not have an easy life, her Mom died when she was 8 and she was delivered to her father, one she did not even know existed. She was not welcomed by all with open arms, but that first day her new brother, Toby told her everything will be ok, that he and his friend Jay would protect her. Unfortunately it did not turn out that way when they betrayed her. The author did a great job capturing how cruel teenage bullying could go. My heart went out to Ever, I was so glad Lucy, her stepmom was there for her when all the drama played out. I adored Ever’s strength and how she set out to make her own life. I appreciated when Declan came into the picture, loved how supportive he was, how patient he was with her and his idea to help her heal. He is a true hero. But can a broken person be healed, can those who broke her be forgive. I highly recommend this story, it takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride, there is drama, angst, heartache, romance, friendship and learning to let go, learning to forgive, learning to really live. Christine Michelle, thank you for this great story, I am looking forward to the next in the series.
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated but he talented Sarah Puckett and D.C. Cole. They are awesome voice performers. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. Their performances reflects the emotions of the characters, Sarah’s Ever was just heart wrenching at times, she allowed you to feel her pain and raw emotion. I loved D.C. Cole’s Declan too. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧.

I would give this more stars if I could!
I started this story with a bit of trepidation because it was an MC story. But, oh my heart!!! This was so much more than a MC club story. It was a story of a child lost and tormented by those who were supposed to care for her, found by a man who saw her and loved every single piece of her, and who was rescued.
Ever list her mom when she was 8 and was taken to live with her biological dad, whom she had never met. He was the VP of a MC and told her she’s have a large family beyond his home. That move started out ok, but soon spiraled into heartache and pain for her. That pain stayed with her because of the ugly and painful words spoken by her friend that broke her even further. all because he believed a lie.
He finds out later, that it was a lie, and he begs for her forgiveness. She can’t forgive... his words caused an avalanche of things to happen in her life and took her to almost a point of no return.
Another friend comes back to town several years later and sees her... and sees and hears what’s been happening to her and makes it his mission to fix everything. He berates all of the people who were supposed to have taken care of her and have not done it. He falls in love with her...
There’s So much more to this story and I could go in and on about just HOW much I loved this!! But i will just say this... you will not regret, for one minute the time it takes to listen to this book! Not only have Christine Michelle and Christine M Butler written a fantastic story, but Sarah Puckett, who is fan-freaking-tasting, and DC Cole, who is one of my favorite male voices, do an amazing job with the narration!!!

The Other Princess
This turned out to be such a deep story. It reminds of how we all have little things in our families we over look, but never change. In this case it scarred a young girls life, heart and trust. The only issue I noticed was a bit of repeating the situation, I know some of it was done to relay it to other characters and perhaps bring more of an impact to the reader. This was way more than just an MC book! Fantastic listen! The narration team did an amazing job. Thanks audiobook addition for recommending this book!

OH MY GOD!!!
Now I fully understand why this book is praised so much lately! This was an amazing book and one I will never forget. It has easily become a favorite for the year.
Such an emotional story filled with what we know comes with MC books. But it took on a whole new level of emotions... This book brought me to tears so many times and I lost track of how many times it broke my heart. At one point, I couldn't stop adding bookmarks because despite everything that happened, it made me smile a lot at the end.
I cannot wait to continue this series and read more of Christine's books!!
