Summary

Beloved and bestselling author Sharon Sala brings you a brand-new contemporary romance filled with second chances, new beginnings, and a Southern small town you won't want to leave.

Fans of Debbie Macomber and Susan Wiggs will love this new story filled with:

- A fresh start for a young teacher to build the life she's dreamt of

- A second chance at romance for a single dad

- The warm and uplifting small-town community cheering them on

After two back-to-back life-changing events, first grade teacher Katie McGrath leaves Albuquerque for a fresh start in Borden's Gap, Tennessee. She is finally back in the classroom where she belongs, but it will take a little while for her to heal and truly feel like herself. She'll need to dig deep to find the courage to try again—in life and in love—but with some help from her neighbor Sam Youngblood and his adorable twin daughters, her future is looking brighter than she dared imagine.

The best day

It was ok started well but became a bit trite plenty of drama at the beginning but it just fizzled into a tepid love story. I love small town romance but not so formulaic personally

Another great listen

Love Sharon Sala books always keeps me interested in what's in the next chapter and the narrator Amy Rubenate is such an excellent story teller

Really poor story and superficial characters

The story doesn’t hang together, it’s overly sickly sweet, somewhat preachy and a real disappointment. I had to listen in double speed to get through it.
The narrator tried her best with what she had to read.

I loved Sala’s book called Ryder’s Wife, this is a pale shadow behind that, and had I read this first I’d not have tried anything further of hers.
